Reminder that this is the "LITE" version of the product. While the camera is "better" it is apparently not any better than the T2. One of the reports in user feedback, ,from the Govee app, was that the lights weren't bright or vibrant as the T2. For the price point, this product is an absolute win but if you want "the best" stick with the T2.
ye thats why its cheaper than the T2 too, prob to replace the old T1 - tho i suspect the T3 Pro version gonna be better than the T2 when it has 60 LED's too. Still hope they gonna offer a (free) "upgrade" for T2 users to get at least some of the new features the T2 dont have yet. (like TV-off detection, black bar removal & more dreamview devices - tho this prob req a new sync box)
@@thomasmeyer7969 That's your call to make. I own a T2 on my primary television. I'm all about progress with technology. My personal choice is to wait until Govee releases a non "LITE" version of this product. If I had to guess... I'd say it's in development.
I just purchased today and during the calibration install, while standing in front of tv, i have red lights on bottom and blue lights on the right side that came on during the calibration install and it is not one of the choices for me to select during the install, therefore I can’t move on to the next part of the installation. What should I do?
Yes but how do you demo it once it’s set up and calibrated? I don’t want to put on a movie I want to see a demo video that shows me the lights. The same way all your commercial advertisements do. I can’t figure that part out
Hi there. My TV is not that close to the wall as seen in most demo videos I can find. There is a 35 cm gap. How much does the effect suffer from this or does it at all?
Why can only be installed on the top of TV? It's not possible (like in T2) to just choose right strip light's direction option and put camera under TV? It'll not work or what?
Please help, I bought this for my wall mounted tv. My problem is the camera won't sit on a 90° angle because the TV is too close to the wall. What can I do?
for blind people i could understand this comment, but then i would ask why even bother. you dont need a master degree in science. u stick the strips behind ur tv plug it in, slap camera on top & done. Register it in the APP - the app tells u what to do too & your good to go.
Your company’s missing out on a lot of custom for the simple fact that there’s certain monitor sizes you should be able to add and cut them to the size you want them I was gonna buy the g1 lights but the max monitor is 30 inch 😂what a joke
