Hey thanks im going to buy an old PS3 and go back to Gran Turismo 5 and 6 for a little while. I used to do the brute force Hex editor hacking back in the day for GT5 online doing awesome motor,transmission, and turbo swaps. those were good times
I have a couple of questions for installing gt6 mods: 1. Would you recommend spec ii over the customization mod? 2. Is cfw or hen easier to install? 3. If I already have a save file will it overwrite it? 4. It uses the newest patch right? Thank you if you can answer any of these
1. I'd recommend the Customization Mod over Spec II, since the Customization Mod has everything the Spec II does and then some. 2. They're both pretty much the same, but I'd say CFW would be sightly easier. 3. You need to delete any save files you have for them to work. 4. The Spec II mod and Customization Mod do use the latest version of GT6.
@@brillowcase I've just dug my ps3 out of storage and had absolutely no idea about jailbreaking. I looked at HEN but ultimately decided on CFW just due to being so much easier. My PS3 was on 4.something, and I fully OFW updated it to 4.85 (latest I believe) I then installed Evilnat 4.85 cobra CFW I've only ever done a CFW on my PSP, but let me say this.. On ps3 it was so easy. Literally 7 steps and I'm not even joking. Took 5 mins, if that 1) Update ps3 to latest OFW 2) download your version of cfw (evilnat is the only 4.85 one atm) 3) put the file on a USB stick with the folders as PS3 > UPDATE 4) run ps3xploit > BG tools. You want to download the patch and apply 5) reboot the ps3 6) system settings > update from storage media 7) press X to install the cfw
I have a question. I Already have master mod for GT6 but I reliased Spec II mod is even better. Can I do the same steps as you did on the video with my GT6 already moded, or do I need to remove the master mod and then copy the Spec II mod ?
Hi, I have followed all the steps in the video to only download the Spec II mod. After booting up the game and not getting the Spec II text below I have tried to solve it again and again by restarting the entire process, which led me to the same result. Is there anything I can do to try and troubleshoot this?
does the gt6 spec ii mod make the cars just as fast as they were in patch 1.00? is there a spec ii mod version old enough to support the first version of gran turismo 6?
Hey I have a problem to GT6 Spec II that I was at installation at 1.22 but it took me forever but when I put the Spec II file if I just don't install the update When I start the game it's going black screen and not show anything after a couple of secounds and goes back at XMB. (I have BCES01893)

when i installed the first 2 files on to the playstation, the file amount was 2849, unlike you having 2031. still selected the same amount though now i had the GT5 stuck on a black screen after i loaded the european edit: i downloaded the asian one now and when it loads up it still stuck. i even updated and installed the data
do you need the digital version of gt6 or does the Spec 2 mod overwrite the physical version too? and can I play it without the disk afterwards? my disk reader is fried...
how can I put both the GT5 master mod and GT6 Spec II mods in the same folder? (PDIPFS) The 2 folders inside the mods are both called '9' and 'K' and obviously you aren't allowed to have multiple files with the same name in the same location
How are you able to not get duplicate cars in your car grid, cause whenever i use the secret settings the car with the lowest pp is there twice. How did you fix that
Hello , i wanted to know if this can be done in the Digital version of GT6 since i don't really find information around of the compatibility of the mod between the Physical Copy and the Digital Copy.
What version are you on for GT5? Because i was told to stay on 2.11, but it seems you are on a higher version. Cause for me i did everything youre meant to do and nothing about my game changed
@@2002GrandPrix i make an account but it multiman still has photos that i took from other accounts so im not sure if thats possible. Do i make a new account before doing the multiman file stuff or after/it doesnt matter
Hello Grand PRIX, I've also tried to install the master mod for Gran Turismo 5. Everything worked until the black screen. I would like to ask if there is another way to install the Master Mod because my Multiman is not responding and I would like to know how I can put the Master Mod on it Propeller. Yeeaah, I'm not sure about that. When I boot up GT5, it goes to a black screen after the warning screen (despite the fact that I erased the systemDB), and the same is true for GT6.
@@2002GrandPrix yes I’m on the latest update on both games and deleted my save file as well to make sure it runs but it still doesn’t work????? I feel like I just wasted my progress doing this, I’m going to do the FileZilla method to see if that works or not
