If you want to skip master mod install, you update GT5 to 2.17 directly on your PS3, and install the online mod with USB stick or FileZilla as shown.

Master Mod works with this Online Mod, you can see that it's working in my video at the end. It's likely that your connection has a problem

Just don't install Master Mod (skip this step) if you want to go for the two online trophies. A detailed text tutorial is in the Discord server (accept rules), GT5 method 2, where you only need to temporarily install CFW/HEN and enable online function with a file, if you don't want to have CFW/HEN on your PS3.

You need webMAN to go online on your PS3. Master Mod is to be downloaded on your computer or phone.

Hi. Please check your network settings in RPCS3 settings. If you are using a custom configuration for this game, apply it within the custom configuration. Set the network status to "Connected," and PSN status set to "RPCN" in the RPCS3 configuration. You can leave two labels empty: "IP/Host switch" and "Bind address." For DNS, you can use either 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, or 8.8.4.4

If you want to use the Online Mod with Master Mod, you need to bypass version 2.11 to 2.17 with the EBOOT.BIN and PARAM.SFO mod files. As I've said, it's important (it's required, not just recommended).

@@gianluu-_- It's in the video, you need webMAN mod on your PS3 to disable syscalls (lowering the ban risk for going online). I mentioned this at 9:04. You need to accept the rules in the discord to have access to the online mod files.

Yes, it will work without Master Mod, though it's worth having it for additional PS2 tracks to be selected (like Seattle, New York, El Capitan, etc).
