Do you have to cut the handlebars or is it ok to just keep the full length. Will the cables run that far? Why did you cut them (perhaps I missed it in your video)
I would say where I cut them would be the max (2 ft.) 24”. I may cut my wife’s off a little narrower than mine. Mine are very comfortable and sturdy. Now if you want to buy universal brake cables or have a bike shop install longer cables, than you can go is long as you want.
