This video is about how to install HDMI over CAT6 ethernet cable. You can make long HDMI cables yourself and can extend HDMI cable up to 10 feet or even above. Using RJ 45 to HDMI converter, we can make extra long HDMI cables with HD quality and even 4K. Make long HDMI cable for DVR to LED. Make HDMI cable with CAT5e cable.

Hello, thank you for this video. I bought on Aliexpres two pairs of similar device but it is not working, I connected the Receiver and Transmiter on right positions but did not work. My question is is the cable wires needs to be connected differently on connector? Thank you

Dear let me know what type of cable do you use? Have you tested the cable on other laptop or computer may be cable or connectors has problem? How long is the cable?

I have used for testing purposes only one lan cable (Cat 5) not longer than 5m

Dear Gaurav, if you use CAT6 in good copper, it can work up to 65M but still if you want you can put a switch after 30M.

The color coding that I did is (White Orange, Orange, White Green, Blue, White Blue, Green, White Brown, Brown). Please let me know also sir if that is that correct color coding so that I can project a display to My TV using LAN cable. Thank you again sir.

Hi dear. Kindly note that the cable you use must be CAT 6 of best quality as CAT 5 cannot work. The colour coding must be straight through meaning same at both the ends. Also try RX side of the converter in L.E.D and TX at DVR or CPU. Length should not be more than 50M. Finally try your connection

Try your connection in 2M to test whether your RJ 45 to HDMI is working. Let know if still you have problem.

Yes my dear the colour coding is fine but keep it same at both ends. Also test your cable not only on internet because for LAN connection 4 wires work but for HDMI all of the 8 wires should work

Yes but this is enough length so you will require to install at least 2 ethernet power switches in between and will need the best CAT6 copper cable

you can check with the vendor and better cat 7 cable and at least cat 6 in pure copper. Also it depends on the type of device used. I recommend Microlink that claim up to 150M.
