Happy that you found this helpful 🙏. Answeing to your question: no, you can install and run the free trial version on linux, windows or any other OS where Jira is compatible. You don’t need to pay anything for the trial version, the trial version is available for 30 days and you can generate a new trial version after the current one expires.

thanks for the video. i strumbled on jira from my experians as an intern in a It company. For my IT diploma i need to make a project withs full presentation. and here i have found my projekt material. But i would like to add Xray can you tell me how its works with jira how can i add it ?

Thanks also for your question regarding Xray, as this requires too much to explain in a single comment I will make sure to make the next video tutorial on Xray plugin, how you can install it and configure it in a single project. @@void-dot-admin i was rewatching you video becouse i have to prepare myselfe to start my projekt in near future. and now i have discovered thats Atlatian dosnt support jira Server anymore and i cant generate a Licence :(

@@lone_wolfe hey, you can use data center. It doesn’t have any modification to it when it becomes to UI. Is basically server version where you can have multiple nodes to keep Jira 24/7 even doing modifications live. So for any side project that you have you can install & use data center

Anyone is having the same problem as I?? After I followed this tutorial (and chose to start jira as a service during installation) everytime I reboot the server the Jira Server wont start. Jira only works after I run the start command manually everytime I restart my server. Why this happens?? anyone with the same issue??

thank you, and this is so annoying the fact that all software are on cloud and the fact to simple install an app you need phd I'm software engineer just to install an app should not take 30 min that crazy annoying !
