Wow looks great the only other thing I would have done was put sound deadening/heat shield material underneath the plywood floor. But awesome job, looks great
First Vinyl plank flooring would of been my first choice. Second maybe learn how to scrib your cuts. Third..never cut sheet plywood unsupported like you did. You where pinching the blade and had kick back and it resulted in bad cuts. I restore boats decks.
@@victorsuarez2954 it was like 30 minutes, you can buy it from any Lowes or Home Depot, it’s flexible vynl sheet that looks like wood so you can bend it and cut it with a knife any way you want it. Just clean the original surface, use good glue and stick it.
Lol this is way better than a 20 min job. This is fresh clean and you know what’s under your floor now. And I can’t stress it’s clean now. People don’t seem to understand a lot of shit get under those mats rugs carpet etc. his didn’t look bad but I’ve seen rust holes in peoples floors.
People who say quality is poor and the guy didn't know how to make better cuts and the saw jammed. This job was done probably in a day on his schedule. I'am sure your shop could do this and better for million dollars and you have to wait for a year to schedule the job. Really people some of you are brain dead to critique this job. I've been in this industry for long and your not going to do it cheaper better quality and faster.
I’m planning to do the same for my volvo. Only thing that is not letting me do it is How will you change the blower motor if it burns out? (PS changing blower motor needs the passenger floor to be partially removed)
You could have done better job cutting out correct shape so you dont have those gaps. Honestly wood floor is not better because original floor cancels more noise and is waterproof. That wood floor will get destroyed during winter and that cab will rust from inside
The rubber flooring is not any better, it is the cheapest option for the manufacturer. Rubber sweats knucklehead, in the winter time you will find wetness under rubber flooring, the floor is cold, the inside of the cab is warm... condensation dingbat. They put moisture barrier down, or are you blind? It's not real wood, it's laminate, it must be painful to be so stupid while trying to talk like an expert. 😂
