Crap led lights though. Got mine 2021..both sides have burnt out lights now. So here I am swapping them out. Going with smoked factory style housings and using led bulbs. Pretty sure you don't have to tape them. They insert into the housing and you turn them to lock the socket in place.
I just found the sidemarkers on ebay. Still interested in the other lights. I see lots online but I like seeing them on a vehicle. Never know what the world of ebay is selling lol
I decided not to use the drl circuit, but instead found a 12+ key switched source and just tapped into it with the white wire. That way regardless of what was happening with the headlights, as long as the truck was on, the lights were on.
Question, We have it all wire up, trying to use a "Mini Add-A-Circuit holder" what fuse # did you plug into? Everyone we have tried is either hot all the time with the key off or it's got nothing. We have tried #50, #60 (empty) all hot. #10 SPO, rear wiper, nothing. What Are we doing wrong?
I butchered my existing headlights to make the mounts. But you can get mounts from "lased designs" online. Or have someone 3d print you a set. I got the lights on Amazon. Look up "ovotor" Jeep lights
It doesn't matter. My headlights are custom. Yours will be different, trust me. But if you've got aftermarket jeep style headlight assembly, then it's the same wire that comes off the headlight assembly harness separately from the plug, and usually that's red.
You need to use a multimeter and find the lead for your daytime running lights. Or find a 12v switched source. I'd recommend using a "tap in fuse adapter" in your fuse box if you can't find the right wire.
You would’ve saved my drl lights if I could’ve waited a few hours lol. Just fried the harness with my power probe, no fuse popped but I lost my drl and park lights, however I still have left/right blinkers. Wish me luck, this is gonna be a hell of a project now, haha.
I have a much faster and much easier way that I just discovered tonight while doing my own. Find a plastic prying tool. Use the prying tool to create a gap between the marker light and the body. Use a flat head screw driver to disengage the clips in that gap. You’ll have the marker light removed and the new one installed on both sides in under five minutes. Good luck.

@@z5970 нет, в Канаде передние габаритные огни ночью желтые. и фонари пришли с разъемом, который входит в существующую вилку. поэтому, если бы я хотел, чтобы это было по-другому, мне нужно было бы перемонтировать его. изолента была там только для того, чтобы удерживать вилку, а не электрическое соединение. Я подключил его именно так, как сказано в инструкции по установке, и. но заглушки дешевые и болтаются, поэтому я также использовал ленту.
@@edsautomotivehowto2706 в России разрешены белые ходовые огни и я рассматриваю покупку таких плафонов именно для того,чтобы сделать повторители указателей поворотов,возможно даже вставлю штатный патрон с габаритом в новый корпус,а диодный провод подключу к указателю поворота на своём Хаммер.
Поставил,чтобы работало корректно там нужно менять провода местами.У меня жёлтые габариты горят всегда и с ближним и с дальним и с противотуманками,маркер ночной горит белым как фары,а поворотник мигает жёлтым.
