Did you have any problem with MacOS beachballing on the setup screen? I’m on a dell xps 13 with core i7 1250u and 16gb ram, I’ve assigned 4 cpu cores and 8gb of ram to my VM and I still get the problem

Downgrade VMware? Uninstall your current version of VMware, and install the old version. Mind me, my computer is powerful, but a bit laggy.

depends on your computer specs. My laptop is powerful but even it lags too. Mac OS doesn't run that good on virtual machines like on real hardware.

USELESS instructions - "python not found" - you totally skipped over this. Installed both Python 64-bit and 32-bit, same crap. If you are going to do a tutorial guy, don't skip vital steps!
