How to install MICTUNING c3 ROCK LIGHTS

nice video - so ,,, with mine i connected the control box/cig lighter end to my aux switch along with the power to the lights. this way they both get powered without having to worry about anything

So if I’m reading it right or watching it right on your video one of the black and red wire combos would go from the battery to the first wheel well that would include to pod lights. So at that connection you would have four red and four black combined together?. Because you would have a red coming from both of the pods one red coming in from the battery and one red going out to the next wheel well?

Is there a way to hook up the control box without using the cigarette connector?

I buy 12 C3 rock light and P1S gang switch control panel. Can I connect lights directly to gang switch ans not using cable with on off switch included in C3 kit?

If I install Gang P1s panel, do I have to use the wires with on off switch or I can connect C3 lights on the panel?

With the app...can you control individual lights or groups of lights...or is it all or none? Asking cause I'm ordering the C3 12 light set, and planning to put 2 in each wheel well, 2 in the truck bed (a RAM too) and 2 in the engine bay. I would be great to only turn on the bed lights or the engine bay lights by themselves instead of having to turn all on at the same time. Great video.

My lights arrived today..... My question is, what wire did you purchase 2? Make the wire longer..... I have a ram crew cab 1500... I know I would need a longer Extension wire..... and also, Is it possible that I use a fuse tap instead of connecting the wire straight to the battery??? PLEASE RESPOND.....and is it true, that these rock lights ONLY turn on when you are parked?

I have a Voswitch panel. I am finding that I can use the Voswitch to cut power to the lights and turn them off but when I use the switch to supply power to the lights they will not turn on. They can only be turned on with the controller or the app. Kind of defeats the purpose of the cool Voswitch panel. I've tried contacting support at mictuning but am not getting a response. Is there anything magical about the supplied switch and harness that makes it so you can turn the lights back on with just the manual switch? My intention was to be able to turn the lights on and off (and back on) with the switch panel and only use the controller or app when I wanted to change the colors or other settings.

I guess I'm just going to loop a switched 12v line all the way around the Jeep and just tap into that line wherever I put a light.

Can i hardwire the switch and the remote on the same switch? I don't want to use my cigarette lighter plug. Also i am planning on running everything into P1s switch panel. Be nice just ro use one port .

So I have to have that box plugged into the cigarette lighter for this to work? Thats a big negative. I use an SPOd or my accessories, would prefer to just hit the button on the spod to turn it on, then use the app to adjust color?

Are the rock lights visible during the day? These are a lot larger then normal rock lights and want a clean look during the day. Thanks for the video very helpful

Is there a way to control these so 1/2 are one color and the other 1/2 another color at the same time? Would you have to have 2 full sets with 2 controllers and run each separately?

Can you hook up as many lights as you want? I’ve got the c2 but I hate how you can only hook up 8 per module. I’d like to have 16 total

On your past video you had a c2 and a q1..did the remote work for both controllers or did you have the c2 plugged into the q1 controller?

you think these c3's would be a good/(bright enough) solution for a lighting on a bed rack for overlanding/camping

So you don't need to do anything with the white signal wire?? Just leave it be?

Thank you for such a detailed video. I have been trying to decide between these C2 C3 and Q1. Do you have to use the rocker switch or can you just clip those wires in cabinet and just use the remote attached to the cigarette lighter and the app. I cannot find an ideal location to push through the firewall anywhere on my brand new truck

I ordered the C2. After seeing this, I think I will stop the order and get the C3. Worth it?
