Mictunings new C2 rocklights. New bigger and better design, with a curved lens to better disperse the light. Double the leds and same color as the c1 so no need to change just add to what you have the app all works the same.

Nice to see they improved from their bigger complaints from earlier generations. I had a set and the app was awful. The Bluetooth connection was spotty. Colors were bland. And I had one quit on me.

I like the wiring on the C2s better than the new C3s. The C3s you have to Splice and Tie the wires together ,and they don't give you enough wire. However they are brighter.

For the screws can you go with a #8 diameter and a 3/4” for the length or would you go for #10 3/4” or should I try to find #8 1”

I’ve been looking for a set of rock lights and you convinced me with these! But I am playing on getting the 8 pod for 2 in each wheel well. If I put the box up by the battery is it safe to say I should order 4 extension for the rear lights?

Heck yea ! Probably one in each wheel well and then 3 on each side and one up front and one out back or 2 in each wheel And one on each side and front and rear

Only thing I don't like is how it throws a square of light on the ground...light bars work good for creating a nice even glow around the whole truck..but that's just my thoughts

Hey man I’m wondering if you could wire these lights to the wires from the amp research power steps wiring harness , all that’s coming from harness side is red and black wire. I basically only want the lights to come on when I open my door and the steps fold out

Hey man yea they would work without a switch but I highly recommend running it to a switch because I don’t fully trust the on and off on the app .. because it’s always pulling power and I’d hate to say yes and it kill your battery

Yes and no it depends on where you mount the box really I definitely recommend getting 2-4 extensions or upgrading to the c3 and running your own power wire

So no joke I literally just used red and black speaker wire I think about a 12 gauge speaker wire cut the ends off of the wire with a fuse on it run it to the battery because the fuse needs to be close to the battery then I connect the wires ran the wires to the switch in the box and then ran to switch inside the truck

How did you get both hooked up 2 one switch? I have a 8 pack and 4 pack of C2 and the guy lied and said I couldn't do both so maybe he's not as skilled as you are installing them.

So you have to wire the 8and 4 together and then a relay for the then 8 to turn. The on but yea you can have them all run to one switch

None of my wires were too short what I did was I placed the box right under the truck behind the driver seat like below it if that makes sense on the frame of the truck I Ran all the wires so I didn’t have to buy any extensions but if you need to you can go on MICTUNING website And by extension

So each eight piece or four piece has its own controller and what you do is you connect them in the app and you can control them all together or separate

Well that's up to you. You can wire them directly or to a fuse. I wired mines to a fuse that way I don't stress about accidentally living them on while my truck is off

Kinda hard too... you wire it to the battery and run the switch inside the cab .. the harness that comes with it has all that already installed ... you just need to hook up the positive and negative

@@camwiththeram535 nope, at least not to what my standards of bright are. And it's wired directly into the battery with the positive to a fuse. I am at full brightness on the app and nothing.

These are by far is some of the worst fucking Lights I’ve ever had to deal with. Seven out of eight of them worked. The only worked for about five seconds before I blew a fuse. Once I got that problem fixed I was happy and then I went to connect it to the app and now the app can’t find the Bluetooth controller. Am I doing something wrong because I’d really like these fucking $159 lights to work.
