I do not have a mod folder as others have mentioned. I just downloaded this game via Steam and it was put into my default folder system for Steam . steamapps . Farming Simulator 19. There is no "mods" folder in that directory structure. I am trying to install a map and will then add some vehicle mods and such. Any advice? Can I create the mod folder and be fine?

Yes. All the mod on the website are available in the in game modhub as long at they are listed for the system you are downloading it on (I.e. PS4)

when i go into my FS 19 folder there is not a mods folder that exists. Do I simply create one? EDIT FYI The mods folder in FS 19 is NOT in your steam games folder. There is a seperate folder in your documents that has another FS19 folder. That is where you correctly install mods. Thanks for your help man great video.

It got solved for me when I understood I was look in the wrong place. Ignore path "C:\Users\%username%\Dokumenter\My Games\FarmingSimulator2019\mods" If you have onedrive installed that will be the place to look for "My Games" or just use "My documents" shortcut under "This PC". Hope this will help!

Does the file contain another zip? Is it corrupted? Are there any unvaild characters in the file name? Check the log file. It might tell you why the mod isn't appearing.

Are there any errors in the log file? This is normally a good place to start as it will often tell you exactly why a mod isn't appearing.

If you open up the zip file is there another one inside it? Sometimes moders put the mod zip file inside another zip for download.

Make sure you both have the same mods enabled in your game and you should be able to play together fine.

You can either do it on a server or just peer to peer. Either way will work. (If using a server you will also need to upload any mods to there too)

I'd check the log file (located at /my documents/my games/farming simulator 2019/log.txt) and see if you can find any errors that mention the file you've download. That should then tell you why the mod isn't appearing.

You can't. Mods on console can only be downloaded via the modhub.

If you are on PC, check your log file (my documents/my games/farming simulator 2022/log.txt) and see if you can find any errors. One of those should tell you why the mod isn't showing up.

Your mods folder should be located in "my documents/my games/farming simulator 2019". If it isn't there you can create it. Alternatively download any mod from the in-game modhub and that will create it for you.
