Hi, I made this step by step tutorial to help people who bought negative displays and now struggle to fit them in. This display modification will fit F91W, F84W, W59, W86, A158, A159, A163, A168 and more bytechsas.etsy.com
I was thinking on ordering the negativa display from your etsy store but im not sure if the dismantling process makes the watch less water resistant. what do you think ?
I never had problems with my watches that I dismantled in the past, mostly because I follow Casio recommendations and don't go swimming with the watch. Although, living in England gives me a great opportunity to test the watch by unintentionally soaking it and myself in the rain 5 times a week. Make sure you place the rubber gasket properly and don't overtighten screws and you'll be good.
i have a casio a700. It is my favourite watch but I wish it had the toquise led. it has a orange one. do you know how i can change it , or can you possibly do it if i pay andpost it to you please.
Wouldn’t it be possible to flip the polariser and get the same result? I remember doing this by accident to my gameboy a few years ago but maybe the original polariser would have to be removed first…
I'm very interested into buying a couple of these from your store. Are the digits same size as the original or the bigger ones that usually fake Casio's have? Does it also have the alarm and hour signal visible? Dont want to ruin my Precious
hello! I've tryied to buy one of those displays in you shop in Etsy and the purchase was cancelled... Etsy didn't let me contact you either! :( sorry to bother here... do you ship worldwide by Etsy or there is another way/marketplace to get one? thanks in advance!
Could I do the reverse of this with my Casio square that has a negative display……? Also I would like to replace the buttons to the gold ones and the springs and screws too……..?
@@Techsas i managed to make it work somehow, I still don't understand. I pushed in the same hole you showed but it doesn't work, so I tried pushing in every hole and that somehow fixed the problem after waiting a bit
@@Techsas hey I am all up for mods, mods occasionally do surpass the cost of the watch anyway. I understand that. Thats the point of mods, make them personal and well worth more than the MRP.
Negative displays look cool, until you need to check the time.... Where did you get the negative display? Did you have it laying around from a previous project or you purchased it as a part? What's with the voice-over? It's kinda funny and kinda strange at the same time The butterfingers joke, at the end of the process... LMAO!!! Great video :)
