I'm looking at the same catch-can to put in my 1GR-FE 4.0l V6 Tacoma, which has those same two existing threaded holes where you mounted your can. I notices the angle at which the bolts screw into those existing holes is slightly angled, so I was wondering if your mounted catch-can sits at a slight angle, or did you bend the mounting bracket that came with the can a little bit to make the can sit verticle?
Yes I did. I mounted it without the can attached and had to bend the bracket a little bit to even get the can to screw on. Then bent it a little more to keep the can from touch the mounting bracket.
I'm going to be tying the passenger side crankcase vent in too just haven't yet. It's currently plugged. I installed a filter where it used to run to the throttle body.
