This video helped me alot. Thank you so much for making these videos. Had to do some configuration on the nginx side of things to get php working, plus I had cloudflare forcing SSL, but I got it all working. Thank you.
@Tony Teaches Tech hi Tony, I got the same error 403 forbidden, I am such a dumb boy not understanding "chown -R www-data:www-data /root/path/of/concern". Which path, which folder do I need to fix the permission please, your help is much appreciated
--ENGLISH --- I do everything you do in the video, and when I write the path / phpmyadmin I get an error 403, the link I have established so as is your video, what could be the error? ---SPANISH ---- Hago todo lo que haces en el video, y cuando escribo la ruta /phpmyadmin me sale error 403, el link lo he establecido asi tal cual tu video, cual puede ser el error?
Hi, Thanks for providing a very helpful content. I followed your steps mentioned in this video. After installing phpmyadmin and setting symbolic link, when I accessing the IPaddress:phpmyadmin in browser, it was showing HTTP 500 error.
I could not set the symbolic link to the default nginx folder that he describes since I have Wordpress installed. My instance is just for development, so I would not recommend my method, but I pointed the symbolic link to my root Wordpress directory and that worked for me. Another method might be to create a new virtual host for your phpmyadmin directory to be visible by nginx. I hope this helps.
Installing WordPress on a subdomain is the same process as installing WordPress on a domain. Getting an error while installing phpmyadmin, no matter how strong i assign mysql password its showing an error MySQL ERROR 1819 (HY000): Your password does not satisfy the current policy requirements
@@TonyTeachesTech @MxzinBeatz I encountered a similar issue and I found out that my nginx root is set to /var/www/wordpress so I had to create the symbolic link in that location. I hope this helps. Tony, thank you for this wonderful tutorial!
@@TonyTeachesTech Yes I got that but. I am creating a strong password still it giving that error. Can you give an example for a strong or medium password. Pls
@@TonyTeachesTech hello sir ! I tried it. The fact is only that after linking using sudo ln -s ......(so on) it shows 403 error bad gateway instead of 404 page not found. Can you please guide me on what to do ??
@@M27B_our_victory The 500 that you see in the output of apt policy isn't an error from what I can tell but rather a priority that simply means that this package is installable
Using Nginx I got the 403 forbidden error and I moved the sybolic link to a previously configured directory, it didn't seem to like the /var/www/html/ default directory but was fine in one that I had previosuly configured as a domain as per Tonys other tutorial ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yWVD6qmQrb8.html hope this helps..
