Seriously. And if you look at their other video for the same install it shows the bearing facing the opposite direction…

You should make sure u mention which direction the bevel on the bearing goes before someone puts it in backwards and waits 24hrs and then has to take it all apart and find more compound and redo it... telling for a friend... I deff didn't just do it backwards...

Apparently they dont care to reply or put up a video for a 4 seater. The prop shaft is oposite to the 2 seater. Its really annoying cause I'm working on a 4 seater now and dont know how to put the bearing on because they are too god damn stupid to put printed instructions with their Shit. Dont know if I'm gonna be buying anything super atv in the future cause this is bull shit

For the XP 1000, the carrier will face the opposite direction shown on the XP Turbo.

I got my bearing in the beveled slot facing the rear.

Correct, this video is for the Turbo. The 1k goes the opposite direction. Another indication for installation is the "long ear" on the carrier. For the turbo, it goes to the passenger side. For the 1k, it goes to the drivers side.

@@SuperATVMediak but your 2 videos both say put it to the ATV towards the back is what I’m getting at, Both turbo and none turbo. I have had it installed the grove is facing back. So your saying I got to pull drive line/bearing flip it all around now?

The Turbo bearing will install the opposite direction compared to the RZR 1k.

@@conlanbartley1636 do it from the bottom. Remove the skid plate. Take your time and you can work it out and back in.

@@conlanbartley1636 remove the bolts from the rear shaft held to the yoke, remove/knock out the spread pin in the front shaft. Remove the carrier bearing shield, work it out of position to remove. ,Unbolt the factory carrier bearing Pull the rear shaft back as far as you can. Have some hold it. Then pull the front shaft as far forward as possible. The two shafts will separate and you can work the out from under the machine from there.

It does not reinstall on all models. Give us a call with your machine info so we can verify.

You are doing way way too much work to put a carrier bearing in. You can do all of this by just removing the center console. I feel like whoever decided this was the “way to do it” had way too much time on their hands
