www.hunterworks.com/inc/sdeta... That is link to washer. This video is about the Hunterworks washer for the primary clutch of a 2021 and newer Polaris Turbo RZR of any kind and how to fix belt overtravel with our precisely ground washer
Over travel is my problem, Yesterday I replaced the belt, cleaned and removed all broken belt debris from primary and secondary PVT drives. But noticed belt travel rubbings of the case at the pint you pointed out! Luckily it’s raining in and I could not drive it. I just ordered your Solution Washer! I Have now a solution to my problem! Waiting on the washer before test driving. Thanks for your video and part!
I have a 2022 Pro Xp4, thanks for the info I will check for over travel, and also the thickness of that washer.👍 I’m new to the SXS world and have been researching belts a little for a backup, I ended up just going w an O.E. Belt cause there are so many options out there w a lot of difference in pricing as well. If you don’t mind me asking what makes the HunterWorks belt so good? Material/manufacturing processes? Thanks again
So as of 2022 Sept 9th Polaris issued a full recall for the 2021 RZR Turbo XP clutch. The clutch was shattering at WOT and fragments were shooting out of the case. I have this model and they just released the fix for this problem. It's an all new clutch design. As I was talking to the Polaris tech he explained they now have to reflash the ECU and move a fuel line for this recall. I knew immediately that a reflash either means the clutch is going to be heavier or lighter. He mentioned that the new clutch design is heavier, esentially causing me to lose HP. My question to you is would it make more sense for me to by pass this recall and get an entier new clutch from you?
We do not sell a clutch for it, the new one is just the 2023 clutch is all, still needs dalton kit and unfortunately still needs this washer. They made a much more reliable clutch but still seem not to be able to get the rest right.
I dont see any marks of the belt hitting the plastic, but I do get the 40-50mph slip when I stand on it. I did shim the belt so its not hitting the outer primary sheeve, Now what do I look for, or fix?
You usually answer me right away so figured I'd try today, my pro turbo 2022 is at shop right now, your Dalton kit and belt installation , but there's a LG metal washer taped to outside of box,we don't know what its for?
Seems like others would just sell a mass production washer. I like the idea of buying a milled one to correct spec. But my question is do all the outside sheave for the secondary require aligning with the seconday inside sheav on the helix? I have a 23 Turbo R 4 and was curious about that. Seems like no one mentions that but saw it another video where they matched the green dots.
The two halves to do not have to be matched up on this model. If they sell each half then that means each half has been balanced separately. If it mattered you could not buy one half.
@@Hunterworksyep I went out and took it apart. Noticed drill point holes all over both halves and assumed for weight removal. That's when I thought if you broke one lol. But I do question if guys are sending out hardware store washers if they care to balance the other components. Seems like parts that say checked for weight or balanced would sell better. Thanks.
@@RadioControlPowercom No one should be sending out hardware store washers, they do but should not. Ours are precision ground. Balance to that point is not required by the way.
Will this fix the chatter coming from the clutch area when I'm going over bumpy trails? I can't believe how much noise this thing makes. BTW, I'm in a 2021 pro XP Ultimate 2 seater. Thanks.
Hi Todd. I have 2021 xp turbo. I used your belt all last summer it ran great. Last week put a belt of yours and washer for travel , machine feels faster to 78-79 then drops alittle rpm and holds 75-76. Used to stay at 79 mph ? Thanks. All stock clutch and engine
