The wires on my 2010 SR5 Extended cab were blue and white, with no stripes on either one, Same connector, White wire is under the white with a black stripe/runner, & blue wire is right underneath the white just above the green.
The electrical connection for 2013 gen 2 is green to blue and silver then blue to white and silver wires. This is with the gate connection wires matching wire colors, otherwise you will have to change the gate connection in the gate due to reversed operations.
Hi, I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra regular cab. On that blue boxes on my passenger side to wire it up. I on have one top blue box and the other three don’t nothing in it. What to do?
Didn't even show it in action! Wanted to see/hear how it worked. Also, can't you locate the wiring connecter near the factory rear camera connecter so that you have both rear connections right next to each other?
I've read that it is very loud. If you install yourself put rubber washers on both sides of the metal washers. From what I've read in a Tundra forum it makes a big difference.
Brian Oglow: At 2:02, you can see where the actuator has arms that surround the locking mechanism. When the actuator moves, it's just like turning the key to lock or unlock it. Also, at 5:40, Todd states to reattach the latch rods and test the operation. We hope this has answered your question.
Will this procedure work for a 2003 tundra? I want to connect my power tailgate to open when I click the fob two times to unlock all doors. 1 click will unlock only drivers side, 2 clicks will unlock all remaining doors and tailgate. Thanks, great video
