Why isn't there a how-to for the hard-wired waterproof installation on a motorcycle? I can see form the comments below that I'm not the only person looking for some guidance, and it would make sense for such a video to be available since you offer the hard-wired option for motorcycle applications.

Hi QUAD LOCK TEAM , I have installed this on my motorcycle, with smart adapter too. Question: Can use in AUTO mod ( smart adapter switch ) and turn on or off on Wireless charger without loose my motorcycle battery power ?

so what do we do to fix the overheating thing cuz mine only does that when i turn my heated grips on i have to decide between having navigation or being able to feel my hands

I am looking at getting one of the new wired version to hard wire into my dual sport bike. I use outside in the elements and wanted to keep my Ghostek Nautical case on my XS Max. Will the universal stick on quad lock mount stuck the case of my phone still allow wireless charging? Or will it not be close enough?

Just wonder why need to adjust the charing head orientation according to make the phone portrait to landscape or the otherway around. why not simply make the push to release plate as circle? than can rotate your phone anytime when riding.
Hey there! Good question. There's no need to adjust the orientation of the head, you actually need to change the orientation of your phone. Simply place your phone in landscape and turn it clockwise until you hear a click, which means it's secured. Cheers - Ara

@@Quad_Lock Hi Ara, ok. let's say when I attach my phone on the wireless charger in landscape orientation, so i can press the wings down to release the phone. but when i rotate to portrait orientation, the wing are blocked by the phone isn;t it? I can only squeeze my fingers to the back on the phone to reach the wings. do you think it would be nice to make those wings in both axiels so it can be dettach much easier?

I have a problem once I connect the USB cable the blue light work for a second then the charger switches off. I tried several times with different cable on my bike and at home but I have the same problem.

Cool items for all kind of situations. I own 3 of them, in each car and on my Vespa GTS from 2023. But there's this one thing, that disturbs my fun. The Quad Lock charger on my Vespa, emits a frequency, that interfere with the keyless system. I had mounted the Quad Lock on the left mirror and the cable was running down the steering-bar to the onboard USB-plug. Every time i put the smarthone to the charger, a few minutes later, there comes a failure message on my Vespa-Display that say's "Keyfob not in range". But the Key is in my pocket, about 30cm from the Vespa-receiver. It has a new battery in it and is fully functional. But the problem keeps coming up every time i drive my Vespa. And this was since i mounted the Quad Lock. Now i tried to mount the Quad Lock on the right mirror. For the moment, it seems this has solved the problem. But it's not very comfortable, to have the smartphone in this position, on the right mirror. Maybe i need to mount an extern wiring directly to the battery. But i don't know, if this is the solution. Very annoying.

Hi there! The Weatherproof Wireless Charging head requires minimum of 5V/2A, so if your Ebike can provide that amount of power then yes, however, the Weatherproof Wireless Charging would only be compatible with the Out Front Mount Pro not the standard Out Front Mount sorry! Cheers -A aron
I let the BMW dealer install te hard wire version. My OnePlus 8 Pro is charging when the bike is turned on, but once i start the engine, i am getting the bluebflashing error mode. Please help

That is our Waterproof 12V - 24V Wireless Charging Head that you have purchased, this one is hardwired yes, however, we still sell the Weatherproof Wireless Charging Head which is USB Powered! Cheers - Aaron
@@Quad_Locki bought the 12-24v for my motorcycle. Is a switch required or is a cable with fuse sufficient? And does it switch off when the motor is off? Greetings from Holland!
