Thank goodness for this vid your a life saver thought I damaged my graphics card apon re insert but turns out I knocked on of my ram sticks out of place ended up re inserting ram cards multiple times cuz I suck at inserting those things lol

My ram straight up wouldn't go in. It had one clip, it was the right module, it was the right orientation (I knew it was the wrong orientation cuz it would move in a seasaw motion if wrong). It would stay put but I knew it wasn't in because there was no click, it could be pulled out too easily and my computer wouldn't start. My Dad got it in eventually and I knew ot worked because it lit up but I don't know why it can't just slot in. I would've broken it if I put anymore force into it.

Works like a charm 😅 Just upgraded to 32!

Do I need to do anything in the computer after installment of my new ram sticks or will my computer just start using the new memory right off of pc start up?

Scared the hell out of me when it wasn't going in. I installed it while my pc was together and it took alot of force. Then I turned on computer and no signal! Took a flashlight and seen one stick still had visible copper teeth. And was like ooohhhh thank god

I can’t seem to get my ram to fit. I have DDR5 Corsair vengence 6000hz with asus rog strix z790-e. It seems like a tight fit from the start, and at one point it just stops. Feels like I’m putting significant pressure with no movement/click. Notch is properly aligned and the side clip (only one on the mobo) is open.

How do I get more spaces to put ram sticks in. cus my Pc only has 2

My pc was flashing yellow after I took it apart and I didn't push it all the way

I just inserted two new sticks of RAM into my PC (exact same brand and model as the other two) and the CPU light came on. I did some troubleshooting and took the RAM out and dusted the ports and then I put the RAM back in and it worked for about 24 hours. But my PC just shut off again and the CPU light came on. I tried the dusting technique again but it didnt work this time. I also checked to make sure everything was plugged in and that didnt work either. I did flip the CPU fan around in order to fit the new sticks in, but I was checking the temps the whole time and they were fine. Any idea what could be causing this?

My pc randomly started to not read one of them, and now that i took them both out it refuses to read either. They click and everything

Sadly i put them both and one of the slots is faulty and don't read one of the rams

Dumb question does it matter which slots the ram is in like do they have to be next to eachother or can they be one slot apart?

I got an aurora r11 and I got 2x32 ram and I tried replacing the ram I already had, and it only works with one stick, when I use both it works for a bit, but then freezes my screen until I power it off, and it even says In about that it recognizes it?
