Although it would be an extra set of screws to keep track of, for a true flush surface that doesn’t allow trash to fill up the hole, use some short sections of all-thread with a simple screwdriver slot cut into one end. I have been down the road thinking those bolt heads won’t be much intrusion, but there a much bigger trip point than you imagine and they always seem to be where I want to stand 😜
I recently put up a car port and anchored it to the existing slab. I used a mechanical anchor on one post and it was too much work. The rest got filled with a special epoxy meant for anchoring. My google searches on mechanical vs adhesive anchors is still influencing the ads I see. LOL Good video.
Nice installation. A lot of times we put short set screws into the anchor when not in use. Bolt heads get in the way of a shovel cleaning up the floor, or sliding things around. Another good video. Are you getting ready for the fall, it is changing fast in here in east Tennessee. The time of the year for those pretty skies and sunsets. Another comment suggested making some screws out of all thread to fill the holes, that's probably what i will do. At the moment I don't have anything in them except for some dirt, If I don't get them filled soon they will probably get rusty... Loving the small taste of fall, still hot in the afternoon but cool in the morning. Been doing some tractor work and cleaning up somethings. My pond is way down so I'm taking the opportunity to harvest some "topsoil" from the parts that are dry. No further working on the coolant sensor but the idea is not dead, lots going on around her with family etc....
