How to Install & Remove Undermount Slide Drawers - Unihopper | DIY Home Improvement

In this video, we cover how drawers with undermount slide glides are installed and removed from cabinets; specifically the Unihopper series of soft close metal slide drawers.
Traditional drawers in most homes feature drawer slides using small nylon wheels. The Unihopper takes a more modern approach using metal glides mounted to the bottom of the drawers. For more information, Bob demonstrates how these metal slide drawers are removed and reattached in his own home.

That was EXACTLY what I needed to know!! We’ve been trying to fix a misaligned drawer for days - needed to remove the drawer below it in order to get upper one realigned. Watched this and *poof* like magic, got lower one removed, upper realigned, lower reinstalled - all in about 35 seconds!

Now do the same for ^%$#@! bulthaup fancy German kitchen drawers. There's no plastic bit to grab onto, you have to hold your finger against the back of the top-most sliding metal rail and push it forwards while pushing the drawer backwards until they click together (getting grease all over your finger), then repeat with the other rail.
