How To Install Rywire OBD2 to OBD1 VTEC Subharness 

For people that don’t know on the orginal vtec engine harness the vtec pressure switch (2wire) the ground (black) it ends on the thermostat ground it never goes into the car it starts at the solenoid ends on the thermostat ground

i assume these motors were already vtec...I have a non vtec car and we're adding a gsr....any suggestions

i would move that ground from the chassis to back of the thermostat housing where the factory ground goes.

Help please i am having problems with my 96 gsr swap into my 99 ek hatch, The ecu coneccion on the ecu its different from my ek civic, I bought a obd2b-obd2a jumper harnes but still cant fit 😥

im in the swap process and I NEED HELP, its a 0bd2 engine going into a 0bd1 car, should I use my 0bd2 harness and just get a ecu jumper harness or should I retain my 0bd1 harness and get the following: distributor,fuel injectors, and alternator jumper harness??? I know I have 2 options to choose from but which is better choice?????? please help thanks

Are you using a ls auto harness or manual ls main engine harness ? I’m trying to convert my auto ls to gsr as well ?

Ok so im trying to bypass ny crank sensor in my accord with a f20 swap it not supposed to have a crank sensor but it does and tbe car is obd2 with a obd1 ecu with a jumper and the sensor is causing my car to go in to limp mode and im trying to figure out how to bypass it but all the diagrams i look at the wires they want me to jump aren't there so im lost need help

Hey Milton, I had OBD2 in my 98spec but switched to Rywire OBD1 in order to use Hondata ecu. Hondata wont work with OBD1. But...youll be able to install a factory ITR 98spec ECU.
