Thanks - was able to replace the indicator on a W246 B180 within 5 minutes - did not even need to remove the mirror. Just line up the mirror so it is parrallel with the joint between the main black mirror assembly and the colour casing. You can then just pull the casing off upwards - leaving the mirror in place.
Put mine on today really easily fitted and plenty bright enough in day time light. Cheers DMP if you ever do mods for the rear lights I'm definitely buying 👍🏻
You don’t need to pry the mirror out and risk breaking it as you did yours, if you just line your mirror straight with the cover you can just lift the cover straight up/off.
I have tried 3 different versions of these, on 2 different Mercs - one from 2013, and the other from 2016. I also tried them with a bench rig, using an old school flasher can from the 90's, and all worked fine. On the Mercs, they all gave error messages about bulb failure. None of them lit all of the LED's in the strip (only about 80% of them at most). 2 of the 3 versions also caused the other bulbs to stop working - either the front, the rear, or both. I tried all sorts of series resistors, and other 'Canbus Fixes', but never got them working correctly. Anyone else have this problem and found a solution?
1:01 lol you just broke the securing clip on that mirror cap. Inside, top, right in the middle. Bottom part missing. What is that red wire for? Where can you connect it, if you dont have power folding mirrors?
Lo he instalado en mi E Coupe C207 y me saltan errores de los retrovisores en el cuadro de instrumentos. Qué solución hay? I have installed it in my E Coupe C207 and I get errors from the mirrors in the instrument panel. What solution is there?
The mirror on mine aren't powered mirrors so would I be able to connect the wire to something else? The blue light isn't a must have feature for me but if I'm able to connect to something else then might as well do it.
Hey I'm new to your channel I'm just wondering is it thee same way for a 2012 Jaguar XF ... Because I just received these and I'm having a problem trying to connect that 1 wire that makes tha blue LED come on
The blue light doesn't work on my e250 w212 2015 model cause when i reverse the car the pud lights will go ON and also the mirror blue light, i bought it from you guys
Question for you ? The left headlight the socket that connects to the headlight, what is the color of the wire that runs the right indicator . I have a 2013 cls63 amg. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
So confused HERE, so I have a 2014 c300. will these fit, I have puddle lights. they look the same mine just aren't motorized because I have the Sport model. Anyone????
I will be grateful. If someone or you. Share. On vw passat b5.5, 2004. With turn signals in the mirror. They do not have automatic retraction! How can the blue go under the light? When unlocking and locking? Thanks in advance. If I can I will upload a photo
that was dumb, you do not changed them that way, you remove the cap then you can exchange it. and you connect the 2 cable to your pod light. You basically made it twice as long and more dificult.
Are these compatible with pre facelift w204 c class? Because the turn signal piece that snaps into the mirror is much larger and different than the facelift version which you showed in the video.
Your method doesn't really work, flip motor power only last 3 sec, won't be enough time to finish hole process of the LED sequence. And some models have demister, puddle light, blind spot signal 20+ same colour wires mixed up together. So best is to wire up the puddle light power or 12v in car if you don't have puddle lights
