Is shock therapy coming out with a platinum package that adds the new caps on the shocks? Would be cool with a matching sticker in platinum to eliminate the gold
How did you get the air out to make sure it is pure nitrogen? I thought you needed to collapse the shock so the ifp in the reservoir pushes the atmospheric air out. Then fill it to 200psi.
If you collapse the shock the resi piston is still only 66% of the way down the resi so that does not cure what you are thinking. Even the factory does not pull the air out before charging with nitrogen. The only place this could be an issue due to moisture and temp would be an F1 or Indy shock that has a very small resi and travels 1/2”.
Is 200psi standard for most of these shocks? I thought I read the live valve shocks are lower pressure, maybe 150, I have a 2023 Kawasaki KRX 1000 Es with live valve.
