Awesome to hear, but sorry to hear about getting sick though. Hopefully you have good weather to install them. First vehicle I've had with these and love them. I tried to salvage the ones on my new truck (the adhesive failed), ended up breaking one :(
Looks great! I have the same brand of deflectors on my Escape. I don't know when they were installed by the original owner, but they're holding up well so far. Also, not specifically related to this video, but I just want to say thanks for making these videos! I can see a lot of effort goes into them and I appreciate it!
Hey Aric! Thank you so much for the kind words and continuous support :) I really appreciate it. I remember you saying you bought an Escape, I almost picked up one last week, it was an 05. How are you liking it so far?
@@4DIYers No problem! Yeah I'm really liking it so far, the 3L Duratec V6 has plenty of power and it still gets good fuel economy (last couple weeks I've averaged 9 L/100km, ~50km a day at 80% highway / 20% city). Handling is good, and the AWD gives it a really solid feel when accelerating (should be very useful come winter). The hinged liftgate glass has been a surprisingly practical feature, it's so easy to quickly throw smaller stuff in the back. Plenty of cargo space, and you can fold down the rear seats flat for even more. All in all, it's a nice practical SUV, and I'm very happy with it as my only vehicle. I do still own my old 1993 Ford Taurus (I think I might have mentioned it to you before), but due to parking restrictions and insurance I do not drive it currently, so the Escape is my daily (and only) driver for now.
Awesome to hear! That's surprisingly great on fuel for being awd. The one I was considering was a 2wd which I thought was a bit odd for being a V6. I was under the impression only the 4cyl models had the option of 2wd. That's too bad you can't drive your Taurus too, I hate having a car sit and not being able to drive it.
Hello excuse me, I’ve been searching for these exact deflectors for my truck. I’m not sure which exact part to order in the website you provided. There are multiple options. Could you reply with the exact part number you order please ?
Same truck as mine with the extended cab small pop out windows? I was just looking on AVS' site, yeah they don't list the options very well. Unfortunately I can't find the bill for these. They should be a four piece set and it's NOT a double cab. The double cab is the 4 door Tacoma.
I can't find that special rear deflector. The rear windows on my Ford F 250 are pop out windows so the deflector needs to gradually get deeper for the window that stays put on one side and pops out a couple inches at the back. Its on a hinge on the front of the window. Having problems finding those. Anyone??
