Hey Benzo, 3 things, I'm glad you posted this video! You missed a couple of things with ELS. #6 on keyboard activates 2nd siren. And something to add about stage 3 lights, you can change the ELS settings for the lights from "manual" to "auto" and it'll automatically activate stage 3 and you'll be able to use alt+J to go to stage 2 and 1
Another tip for controller users, if you hold down the B button you’ll of course have your Primary Siren going, but whilst holding down B if you hold down L3 (Left Analog Stick) down whilst holding B down you’ll have your Secondary Siren going and you can let go of L3 at your discretion to alternate between Wail and Yelp, or if you can let go of B and blast the Bullhorn if a GTA 5 NPC decides to…well…be a GTA 5 NPC
Whenever I cycle through my sirens tones on controller with B, it still continues to play the main siren tone (1 on keyboard, wail siren) while overlapping with the next tone. So, I would go to stage 3 and then DPadDown and then press B, and it would result in wail and yelp playing at the same time. However, it doesn't happen on keyboard. I haven't touched the config file either for ELS. Any info by chance?
Best way to handle the sirens is stick to one or the other (Keyboard or Controller) sometimes you might get overlapping sirens like that. And sometimes I do that on purpose actually with the number 6 key which will give you dual action sirens. You could cycle with the B key on controller and then wait til you are about on scene and then D-pad down to cut sirens at that point. Or if you are on Keyboard, you can press the same button that you had previously selected to shut off the siren (for example if I was on yelp, you can select yelp again to cut the sirens. If you select 6 on the keyboard, you will indeed have two sirens at once, it would be tricky but you can do just keyboard while you drive with a controller and hit the 6 key to cut the additional whale siren and then cut the other siren as you approach the scene. The number 5 key on some sirens (not all but most) will cycle through the sirens for you, including your horn so you don't have to worry about cycling so much. Then hit 5 key again to cut sirens. You can also check out the Automatic Siren cut off plugin to not have to worry about cutting sirens at all. Works with ELS vehicles. Step out of the car and sirens are automatically shut off. I’m new to lspdfr and your videos have been a big help 🙏🏾 question about the controller key binds, does it work by default or did you have to change any bindings? I plan to download els vehicle packs after work today but I wasn’t sure if I was going to run into an issue or not, and if it is a mod would you please let me know what it is? Or could you show your controller bindings?

Benzo, I have a question that's sort of unrelated. I already have the ripple sheriff pack installed. Whats the process for installing a new pack or replacing vehicles with another? Do the ELS files change? What about vehicle meta? Any help would be greatly appreciated, friend. Thanks in advance.
You can just replace the cars you want to replace by adding on top of the other. Vehicle meta file is covered in my ELS car install tutorial from 2021 I think. Everything is timestamped in that video. ELS files will change yes, just add the replacement into your pack_default folder. Note: Some ELS XML files will work for other vehicles, best to experiment a bit.

is there a way u can install sirens for specific vehicles, because i installed some sirens for uk armed forces and now all the vehicles have that siren and i only wanted 2 vehicles with that siren
Can it be possible, yes. Too hard to explain in RU-vid comments, yes Only advise is to look up on RU-vid for - Doug1637 and type in Multiple Siren install. Should find it, its a long video but detailed. Don't want to watch that one? Then you can always ask in Discord and have someone explain it over a 2 hour period lol
@@BlueLineVibes I tried this again and only changed the Resident file in the mods folder, opened FiveM with no issues but when I load in the sirens are still the old sirens, any ideas?
With police vehicles EVERY SINGLE TIME, I put it where it is supposed to go but it doesn't appear at all. I check every folder in that OpenIV where it goes I've checked all of them however no police cars are there.

friend, how do you talk to the dispatch with all the added words you use? I just tell him with the commands and he understands me, but if I tell him "Dispatch, I'm in the place, I don't see the suspect" he doesn't say anything

@@freddcop It's pretty easy actually. Look at the documentation in the folder. It gives more info in there the phrases that you can use. The reason why I say it is simple, is you only need to know the first 1-3 words that Grammar Police is looking for. So as long as you get the first 1-3 words (Depending on what you need) it will respond accordingly. So for example, in the documentation you will see actions / commands. If I ask dispatch for a Tow Truck, you can say "Tow Truck" or you can ask for a "Fifty One" but notice the first word here is "Requesting" So if you say "Requesting a Fifty One" it already registered a tow truck, so if you have hold to talk pressed down you can say anything you want for up to 45 seconds. Here is the long example "Dispatch, Requesting a Fifty One at my location 123 Vine Wood, License plate number 1234567 for a red 4-door SUV next to the Grocery Store" Long sentence right? Well once again, Grammar Police just heard you say "Requesting a Fifty One" everything after that, it doesn't need to know. Just Role Play immersion. My advise is to also watch Opus49's tutorials on his download page of Grammar Police, he explains things pretty detailed if you want to really learn how to use it.
Benzo I had all my plugins working Then 2 days went by I went to load my rage and eup menu would not come up it all of a sudden said no law and order installed My simple trainer did not come up my add on spawner as well I notice that there 2 recent script hook v on the site dev The lastest for the GTA game version was working when I removed it the game loads but when I put it in the game doesn't load when I put one from Feb the games loads the story mode No menue work no simple trainer so did rockstar do a update I understand that script hook v the game D don't want us to mod. The game Also I adding more cars O think you can only add a few cars and the security In the rockstar starts to recognize it
what should i do if ive already installed a siren before and want to change it because i cant get this one to play in game its my old one playing PLZ HELP ;)

Do you have the paid version? If so, do you have at least the April, or May release? If you do, you can install the contents in the Reshade folder and when in game you can press the INSERT key to bring up reshade and make lights brighter or more dim depending on what you need for Day / Night in the NVE shader menu.
Yeah I tried that, actually I bought the paid version of NVE because I thought that would fix it, but the reverse strobes (the white ones) don't turn on, they just look like little dots; but they reflect the light on the ground, I mean the ones that can be turned on with ELS by pressing alt+5, if I uninstall NVE they appear again
Im here again haha i actually need to reset my siren or does this need to have a lspdfr mos bwcause i cant change the siren and i wan tmy default one if you have default pack thanks its ok. If theres none because the ambulance is so loud its horning crazy😅

Should work pretty well for Non-ELS vehicles as well. In the video, I just couldn't remember the keys to trigger siren as I have not used a vehicle like that in a long time. The siren would just replace the main police siren in the game, including story mode AI vehicles.

This particular siren may not be FiveM ready. However, I think I was able to save a copy of my Original Resident.rpf and place it in a folder on desktop and experimented a bit to import it into the original Resident.rpf which is what FiveM feeds off from and was successful getting this siren into my FiveM if that makes sense. Just make sure you back up your Original Resident.rpf in a place you can find it, just encase it causes audio in game to be messed up.

I believe when your in stage 3 lightning and press down to activate sirens, if you press up it will cycle through sirens, unless i m thinking of sumat else 😂
Well that just means you are not outside of your mods folder, only time you will ever see a red flag is if you are outside of your mods folder, unless you perhaps changed the warning flag in your options of OpenIV - so look at your OpenIV and then look under Tools > Options > modsfolder tab. See if you have that checked off for warning message.

@BenzoEffect yea not sure what's happened if I remove it its all fine but once I add the siren pack back all trucks have a strange noise like a hissing sound when braking its only trucks it does it for
If you don't have a Residentt.rpf then you wouldn't be able to even play GTA 5. In the Video I am going outside of your mods folder first, that is your base Resident.rpf that is required to even run the game. If yours is missing somehow you can look up how to "verify integrity of game files"
Might be better to go to Stevethegamer55's RU-vid channel for that info; he's got over 3.8 million subscribers and a wealth of knowledge compared to my own channel.
Sadly I cant get this awesome siren because OpenIV is shutdown and you cant open the site, I already tried the tutorial to fix it and it did nothing ;-;
Replace the modded vehicles.awc with your original outside of mods folder. 2:34 for original vehicle.awc Most never read my replies anymore on RU-vid and that is why I am reluctant to even help people these days.
idk what i did but mine is broke now and it says this when i click ok Some files not imported, more information below. vehicles.oac(Line 16): File "vehicles\0x000E3CFA.wav" not found.
