Awesome content PM, a little tip that may help future waters of this video. PyTorch no longer supports versions of Python greater than 3.7 so you need to install a version before 3.7 for the batch file to work.
There are no installation packages at Python's download page for 3.6.xx. There is this: Gzipped source tarball & this XZ compressed source tarball. It also indicates that: "No files for this release"... So, how do I install the appropriate Python version, I have no clue. Is there a way?
I still prefer Midjournery as well :) , I just hope costs keep low/ minimal so it's accessible for the majority. There are alternatives if pc specs are not high enough. You can still use it via google collab, I think it's about £9 a month to use their GPU. You can also access Stable diffusion with Dream studio which is or it's $10 for 1000 images.
@@promptmuse would you please make a video on how to sign up for google collab and then how to install stable diffusion on it and show how to use it? I’m using midjourney right now but over the winter holidays when I have more free time I plan to tinker with stable diffusion. My pc doesn’t have much vram and it’s very expensive to buy more. I’m excited to learn that there’s a cheaper alternative.
@@mildredmelusine6970 I sure can, I can put it on my website tomorrow for you (UK Time) www.promptmuse.com In the mean time here is the Google colab website: colab.research.google.com/signup Once signed up the Google colab notebooks are in my description :) also if you have already, it’s worth getting a free Google drive: www.google.co.uk/intl/en-GB/drive/
so i think i installed everything but accidentally closed the prompt window without first copying the ip address from in there (step 8). Is there a way to find that or reproduce it? cheers. i dig the channel so far.
Thank you for the great instruction. There is a problem, as David-Allen mentioned it is the compatibility error. However, I couldn't solve the problem because There are no installation packages at Python's download page. There is this: Gzipped source tarball & this XZ compressed source tarball. It also indicates that: "No files for this release"... So, how do I install the appropriate Python version, I have no clue. Is there a way?
Yeah, but I just minimise it in the background. It’s only a matter of time before it’s a press and play application (but probably subscription base model cost would come with that sadly)
@@promptmuse I just tried it and I can get it to generate a few images before I get the blue screen of death and crashes my pc. I thought I had the minimum system requirements but I'm not sure . I have an AMD Ryzen 2700x, 16gb ram, and an Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti that has 11gbs of ram.
Unfortunately when running run webui user batch, i am told I cannot install torcjh or torchvision and the operation stops .... Torch cannot access the GPU and I do not understand the 'add --skip-torch-cuda-test to COMMANDLINE_ARGS variable to disable this check' instruction
Great technology, but it has to become better in the usabilty. There are way too many diffefent steps for this to being accesible to everyone. Gan of stable diffusion is better than the one of dallE from openai, but DallE it’s easier to access and use
