Yes, it's standalone and completely free, doesn't require any of the original games to be installed. I've been playing it for a little over a year now and it is, by far, my favorite game of all time. I think it is as close to perfection as a game can get.

In case some people don't get the "launcher" app, make sure when you download the file, on the website the category needs to say "full version", and not "patch". I made that mistake and was wondering why I didn't get the launcher, but it's cause I downloaded the patch. So, just an fyi.

for people who are having issues, when you go to the files, underneath the version text, the version text is the most highlighted text on the file, therefore it has more "font thickness", below the version text, it will say whether its full version or patch, if it is a patch or not full version, download the full version! anything that is NOT the full version will NOT work if your trying to play the game. i downloaded the patch and it didn't work because i downloaded the PATCH and not the FULL VERSION. dont make the same mistake i did! good luck on trying to download the game and hopefully this helped!

Winrar may not want to work with you, I kept receiving a 'Not enough memory' error. Downloaded 7-zip and did the whole thing and it worked like a charm.

So every time I extract this I get errors saying everything wasn't extracted and that files are missing. I use WinRAR. So I'm not sure what the problem is. Please help

I've tried everything but for some reason everytime I extract the download using 7zip and winrar it won't fully extract and like 32 files are corrupt and the game won't start. I'm literally out of ideas. Please help I don't know what I'm doing wrong

Sooo whenever I try to open the moddb site I get an error basically 522: connection times out, can't open any of the moddb sites at all... Update: Oh well, it seems that the Moddb servers are just super unstalbe and keeps shitting them selves and going down for hours at a time.

before i even launch it says the following needs net framework 3.5 (includes 2.0 and 3.0)

hey, I was downloading the file from the website but the game will not download, when it reaches a 98 or 100 percent, the file just wont download. Do you think you may know what the issue is?

So I actually just bought the complete edition of STALKER on Steam this weekend as a first time player. Super anticipating the new game so figure might as well get into the older game. It's pretty cool so far, and I am curious for this Anomaly mod do you not need those other games in order to play it? I heard this mod is like the three games combined or something along those lines.

I have tried over to download this game but am missing something because i am unable to play the game after download. Once downloaded, its not in a folder like in the video but instead has a paper icon next to the download. I am new to pc gaming and not sure what to do. All other videos are just the same. I there something i need downloaded in order to download the game? Like another program or something?

Website download is horrifically slow and times out, Magnet link just flat out doesn't work. Imagine making an amazing mod then distributing it through the most wank method possible
