Effectively manage overflowing water and make it easy to connect standard plumbing fittings to your tank with our tank overflows. Tank Overflows provide additional security for your tank’s connections, and also allow you to increase your water tank’s storage, enabling you more ability to plan for volume.
All our overflows can be paired with mosquito proof screens or flap valves, and some can be used to increase your tank’s rainwater storage capacity.
Made from UV-stablised UPVC for longevity and AS4020 compliant, our tank overflows are available in a wide range of sizes and fittings to suit your tanks and stormwater pipes.

This is nice. Should the overflow outlet be bigger in diameter than the inlet pipe? And should it be below the inlet pipe - I mean my tank's outlet is near the top.

Thank you so much for your feedback! You are correct, tank overflows should be equal or larger than your inlet pipe diameter. Yes, it should be below the level of your inlet pipe as you want the water to reach the overflow and come out of the overflow, before it reaches the level of your tank inlet.

What if it is leaking after many years installed? How do you suggest re-sealing?

Hey James, we would suggest replacing the gasket or using silicon

Most overflow pipes leak at the top fitting because pvc pipes expand and contract, poly tanks flex with varying water levels and seasonal variations cause the ground to expand and contract. The overflow pipe should be safeguarded by ideally fitting a swivel expansion joint. The high level overflows are also a real trap for the unwary. The overflow capacity requirement should always be hydraulically calculated and raising the overflow height lessens the outlet's overflow capacity. Also, high level overflows should never be fitted to a flat roofed tank.

Birds and insects maybe mesh the overflow

@@alwayslooking701this comment is very useful. Thanks. I was looking for if the outlet dia should be larger than the inlet dia.. inlet throughput is higher and that's not helping the outlet overflow at the same rate.
