How To Install Tesla Model 3 Door Panel Inserts with CNC Stitched by LeatherSeats Prime

These bespoke 2018 Tesla Model 3 leather wrapped door panels were built in our LS PRIME Dept with a special order 2-tone color combination of Black and Prima Nappa White Leather from Hydes Leather. www.hydesleather.com Both the top-stitching and CNC pleated stitching was done in a White thread using our new CNC quilted Fractal pattern. Our Tesla Model 3 packages include the seat upholstery for both the front and rear seats and are designed to completely replace the factory upholstery. You can optionally choose to upgrade the door panels in a matching color combination. The special order options in this kit are only available over the phone at 1-866-639-7328 or in a Pre-Selected Package on our website. If you are interested in this style but would like other colors please contact us and we can get a quote for you.
Our LS PRIME Dept has a large variety of CNC stitching options available and we are now able to provide you with panels for your own upholstery projects. Be sure to check out www.cncstitching.com for more info and designs. We offer leather trimmed upholstery kits for both versions of the Tesla Model 3 on our online interior configurator here. Be sure to build and price out a kit or see some of the other packages that we offer.
This LS Tech Tips video overviews how we go about installing the door panels. Tesla Model 3 door panels should be tackled only by advanced DIYers who have are extremely mechanically inclined and have an eye for detail. If you would like this upgrade for your vehicle but do not what to do the installation yourself, we can send you the upholstery kit and you can take it into a local automotive upholstery shop for professional installation.

Thanks for this video! I got a 2022 model y with white interior, but they got rid of the white door panels and replaced it with grey alcantara, which I don’t like. I got some white door panel inserts off eBay and replaced the alcantara with the help from this video!!!

@@mitchellbarnow1709 You would not be the first person to say that. Leather naturally "breaths" more and will acclimate to your body temperature much better than man-made vinyl. Awesome job!!! Watching your video I may have a suggestion to remove the "mushroom head" after the epoxy dries. Have you tried a spot weld removing bit? They have a centering pin that rotates and the teeth would chew the plastic mushroom off. May be worth a look if you haven't tried it already.

Will Aerley It would be very difficult to give you labor times as it really depends on the skill of the shop. These Tesla parts are SUPER tricky to work with so expect a high labor cost. Please feel free to email sales@leatherseats.com and we can go over more info with you.

Lady Royale There are no plans as of now. You might want to check out a local automotive upholstery shop to see if they can custom make you a kit off of your seats specifically.
