This is easily the best manufacturer installation guide I've ever come across (detailed optional steps, gotchas, etc..). Much appreciated for those us who are all thumbs.

Hands down the BEST installation video I’ve EVER seen on RU-vid!! Good job guys! I’ll be recommending Apex to my customers. If your installation videos are any indication of the quality of your produce, you’ve knocked it out of the park! Keep up the good work!

So I want to shout out to Apex customer support. I won't go into details for the service I received, but their customer support went above to help me with my Apex trigger. Couldn't be happier and I can't recommend enough the team at Apex to provide you top notch customer service!

Great video and fantastic trigger, I highly recommend both. I've installed several of these for myself and friends, my advice is this. Watch the video a couple of times before you try it. That gun he's demonstrating with has probably been taken apart and reassembled many times. I'm here to tell you that the first couple of times you go to remove and reinstall those roll pins from a new gun you're really going to need to HIT them. So much so that I went out and purchased a set of short necked roll pin punches to get them started because I was bending my long necked ones, YMMV. Make sure you use roll pin punches not flat tipped ones, you will mess up your pins if you don't. At 6:10 in the video he talks about "if you have to change your trigger bar" and then proceeds to demonstrate how to do that. IF YOU DON'T need to replace your trigger bar, save yourself some work and SKIP this part! Move on to 8:20 and tape yours up. At 9:17 he uses a starter pin punch to start the trigger bar pin into the new trigger. If you don't have a set of starter pin punches, I wouldn't go out and buy them, you can get that pin started with some gentle taps from your soft tipped hammer, just don't go too deep, you don't want the pin to intrude into the slot that the trigger bar goes into. After that, he launches into a whole segment about pressing the trigger bar pin in using a vice. If you have such a setup, be my guest and do it that way, if you don't, you can easily accomplish the whole procedure by judiciously tapping it through with your soft hammer, just be gentle and make sure you keep everything lined up as you go. When you're doing the rest of the reassembly, especially with a new gun, you're probably going to have to HIT those roll pins much harder then he makes it appear, again YMMV. One last thing, if you're going to carry this gun for duty use or whatever, I'd skip the "performance disconnector" and use the factory one. With their disconnector, this is a VERY light trigger. I used it on my p10f because I only shoot that gun at the range, on my p10c, which I carry sometimes, I didn't. Just my opinion. Enjoy your new trigger!

This kit is so worth the money! It was easy to install by following this video. I used the Apex disconnector and the trigger went from 'great' to 'totally awesome, dude!' I don't have a trigger gauge, but I would put it on par with my P320 that has the Grayguns P320 Hybrid Trigger System - Competition. I think you'll be happy with this kit. It is exactly what I was looking for.

Guys take the recommendation for glasses seriously. I almost lost an eye when a spring came out unexpectedly from my semi auto shotgun. It had massive power and would easily have removed my eye had it hit one inch to the left.

Waiting for the trigger kit to arrive. Watching the video to prepare. Its a great video, feeling confident that I will be able to do the switch although I have never really worked on a gun before. And this is my first 9 mm pistol. At first I felt that I didn't need to swap the trigger but after watching all the reviews I decided it was the way to go. I'm doing mostly bullseye type target practice so the apex trigger will hopefully do a big difference.

Visit Recoil's website. There are also a couple reviews here on RU-vid from HammerStriker and WorkTheTrigger. And for reference, in a stock P-10 with a measured 5.8 lbs trigger pull, our full kit brought the pull down to 3.8 lbs.

Apex Tactical, is there a reason why a trigger bar with a number stamp below 19 wouldn't work with your trigger? What do you mean when you say "they don't achieve the same results?" I'm buying a trigger either way, but I can't even find a newer trigger bar for sale anywhere.
@apextactical

CZ has made revisions to the trigger bar geometry since introduction. Our design is based on the most recent trigger bar, which is the 19.

sub 4 pounds is the best you can do? when you make kits that will do sub 2.5 pounds then you have something. CZ-P10 F already has crisp -4.5 pounds.

Factory G19 and CZP10C triggers bite my finger because when I pull some flesh gets underneath the trigger. Will this happen with this trigger upgrade? I don't want to sell my p10c OR but this trigger bite is damn annoying

I had this with Glock triggers. In my opinion, you will learn not to keep your finger low on trigger. Eventually I stopped letting the forward movement rub my finger on the guard. Ive owned 7 striker fired pistols and think I’ve overcome the issue

From our website, "For use in the CZ P-10 S, C, and F 9mm models only. Not compatible with the CZ P-10 in .45ACP or the CZ P-10 Micro."

Can you also run a ligter striker spring with this also?
@apextactical
@apextactical 2 года назад
We have not tested lighter springs with our kit so we don't recommend their use. Using lighter springs may cause the Drop safety to fail.
@XX-166
@XX-166 3 года назад
What would really be good is if the kit was sold already assembled and all the end user had to do was take out the pins slide in the completed assembly and reinstall the pins and the slide.

If we could get all the parts, that would be an option, but all of the parts aren't readily available.

No way in heck that rear roll pin comes out that easily! I bent 2 quality USA made punches trying to get the rear pin out. No doubt that pin is pressed in from the factory. Good video otherwise. I'm removing my HBI trigger for this apex kit.

@Andrew_182
@Andrew_182 Год назад
I’m not an expert or associated with Apex, but I would think it should. The SC is the C frame (and internals) with the F slide, and the trigger is compatible with both the C and F so I see no reason it should be a problem.
