Just a tip for anyone ordering this trigger or any other trigger for the hellcat line or if you ever just plan to clean it… spend the extra $8 and get the 2 pack safety sear rings. Their website is 100% correct, you will say “son of a bitch” when you lose it and have to place a second order! Apex- please add one of these rings to the trigger kit and charge the extra $4, it’s worth it! Love the trigger but can’t shoot it till my rings get in. Dry fire is crispy tho!
@@Ronix1776 sorry to hear you lost the safety ring. But you can shoot it without, the pin will jist want to wlak out, so whatever you do, don't trust your life to it until that pin is replaced.
@@apextactical I ordered the two pack yesterday. I have others that I can use till they come in. Very happy with the trigger so far and the video is great! Thank you! Is this a two stage trigger? I have two distinct walls. Is the normal or did I do something wrong?
For Anyone considering this please do it! I’m a first time gun owner with my hellcat and have some tinkering ability but none with guns. I was so nervous reading comments and watching the video that there were too many pieces and parts and the vice thing sketched me out. But it’s super easy and while I was doing it I was really annoyed I didn’t do it sooner. Main reason was no gunsmith could see me for weeks. My main tips are: 1. follow his steps and use the tape when he does and the piece of paper in between the trigger. It pays off knowing you aren’t damaging anything. 2. If you have a CA version it’s different! I freaked out thinking I broke it and it was so frustrating after that time to get to the last step and the slide won’t go on/ the trigger testing won’t work. So if you have a CA version go on Apex website and under the apex trigger item at the bottom will say instillation resources. It will show a video of how the stainless steel piece needs to sit behind the mag lock thing. It’s easy you just tuck it behind instead of just dropping it in like the video shows🤙🏼 3. Also using a piece of computer paper helped a lot to keep pieces together. But also make sure to use a proper punch for the trigger Comment if you have questions
Just installed this. Took me longer to find my roll pin punches than to get the parts in lol. Great guide great product. I agree with others however it might be too light to carry concealed.
Good video. Without this I wouldnt have ordered the trigger kit. Watching the video gave me the confidence to try it myself. The white background was a great idea.
followed these instructions when I installed the kit on my Dagger, If you are putting this on a dagger you should find a good video on removing the trigger from the dagger is slightly different than a Glock, but the install of the Apex was easy and worth the money, you will notice a big improvement in your trigger pull.
I’ve gone crazy trying to install this trigger on my CA COMPLIANT Hellcat Pro. I bought it through Brownells, but it wasn’t until I just went to the Apex site that at the very bottom of the page, it shows (in a picture, NOT in a video) that your video does not show the CA compliant difference. Is there ANY video that show how this is done??? I’m a conservative trapped here in CA…please help. (No, I cannot move, my family is here…for my 68 years).
I have a Glock 43x. It is the same as Gen 5 but doesn’t have dual slide lock . My question is why doesn’t the Gen 5 replace the plunger like the gen 3/4?
I revisited this 5 year video about a week ago and finally decided to fix my 6 year old P10C's mag release button. I got it today at a Memorial Day sale price and installed it immediately, with the help of this video in less than 5 minutes. 😁 I bought the optic ready P10F and the P10S 4 years ago so the P10C was just a forgotten pistol until now. I guess I'll have to send the slide off to be milled for an optic now? 😂😎
Whats the trigger weight after all this? And is it worth it. I have this exact gun and carry it in rotation with a few others however I cannot get over the stock trigger. It’s Absolutely terrible. That’s just my opinion I know some don’t mind it but I like a lighter trigger I don’t wanna pull a 7-10lb trigger it’s not ideal.
