How to Install the Connex Master Link Correctly 

Your chain is backwards. Shimano 10, 11, & 12sp chains are directional. The stamping on the outer plates faces out, the inner plates have no stamping, they face in. The chain will work backwards, just not optimally

Thank you a lot. I was wondering why it skips on the 11 tooth cog. Lol. Was almost getting frustrated with the thought that connex chains do not work with 11 tooth sprockets of shimano. Thank you for this simple video. Easy.

The KMC reusable links can only officially be connected / disconnected 5 times . You can use them more but they get a bit loose. I wax my chains so they last a bit longer. I also have the connex wipperman links. When the links are joining the bottom chain span you install the slots so they look like a frown ( Frown Down ) which also means that the speed number on the side of the link plates is readable the correct way up ( with a small stamped line underneath the number ).
