+Nan Xing Anytime you can increase the airflow into the throttle body it will increase horsepower, however, I would also recommend opening up the exhaust a bit as well. It's kind of like the theory behind the GM Vortec Engine. More HP from a smaller engine by inducing more airflow.
shadowcompanyUSMC I am not exactly sure, we upload tons of royalty free music every year. We do use the website audiojungle.com to get all of our music.
Hey Martin, when you purchase you'll get mileage info based when you should replace or clean your filter. Sometimes that's best left us to personal preference becasue depending on what environment the vehicle is in - you might want to change it more often than what the manufacturer recommends.
Bunong Canada there are alot of factors and variables involved in determining which one is best. Some of those include whether or not you want it to, sound, look or install a certain way. Are you just looking for cool factor or trying to increase HP. Are MPG's a factor. So as you can see I can't really tell you which one is the best one for you. i can talk with you about the characteristics of specific ones or the quality of them once you find one you want more info on. +k hawks you could put it together with a double ended barbed connector. If you put it together with that you would have to cut it to get it back apart. You can get those at a hardware or auto parts store.

Jonathan Westmiller the Blackhawk uses AEM'S dry flow air filter, which is why you can't get K&N's filter wrap for it like the polished and plastic. The Blackhawk looks the best, has the lowest hp gain, but has a filter that doesn't have to be oiled, just cleaned. It is the middle intake in terms of price.
Donald, The Intakes can usually add a little additional horsepower to your vehicle. It is usually a very modest and unnoticeable change. It's usually between 4-10 HP.
+Antonio Soto, There is no cover with the K&N intakes. You will receive the heat shield and this will protect the filter from anything in the engine bay.
RealTruck.com they have the water "resistant", not proof filter wrap in four colors for the polished and plastic intakes; black, blue, red, and yellow. The Blackhawk intake does not have the filter wrap because it uses AEM'S dry flow air filter, not K&N's pre-oiled cotton filter. The wraps are mainly for people who live in wet locations and the filter wraps are $35 a piece roughly. They should be included in the kits imo. P.S., K&N now owns AEM.
Hello Alonzo, Yes K&N replacement air filters which install into the OEM filter air filter housing in your vehicle are emissions legal in the United States.
I've a question sir. How much more Horsepower and torque would you estimate it adds? My engine is the 305 5.0 V-8. I want a new engine but that's beside the point.
Do you have the same 5.0 that is in the Chevy pickup? If so you are looking at another 7+ Horsepower. You can see it here > www.realtruck.com/k-n-63-series-aircharger-high-performance-air-intakes/R181626P1992Y852MA.html?KandNintakecomment&Comments
Blackhawk....Black...Everything is black; K&N designers could not come up with black hardware (nuts and bolts)? Just saying, still a great looking CAI.
Leroy Jones what year is your truck? I know we have them for 4.3 litres but it will be easier for me to find you one with the year. Juan, I don't see the exact application on our web page, however, if you give us a call at 888-257-3323 my team should be able to get you one for your vehicle.
K&N is made around the world. They have different headquarters in North America, UK, and other European/African countries. It would be hard to guarantee that everything would be US made.
