Is there supposed to be upward movement of rim when pushing on it from below? (Because of spring and single screw holding rom) Stable with downward force
I purchased this for my son for Christmas. This video was very helpful when assembling it. However, there was no boom cover in the box. Can I call Spalding to have them send it to me?
It adjusts the the high of the ring. the vertical pole it telescopic. It have been nice for them to show this. Also how the other pin works rather than cutting to when it was covered.
It's about time that someone has done this. So glad it's Spalding!! What is the difference between Clearview and high frame I am ready to order but stuck on the difference I see the price difference but don't understand the actual product difference.
The clear view hoop backboard has a thicker performance acrylic material that includes an Aluminum trim on the outside. The backboard has no obstruction behind the material thus mirroring what those in professional arenas play on. This also includes the "Boom" cover to visually beef up the hoop and match the on-court Arena Renegade. It also comes with our Arena Slam Rim, which is a breakaway rim and designed again to look more like the on-court hoop. The "H-Frame" is a little thinner of performance acrylic however it has steel support behind the backboard for equal playability, but not clear. It does not include the Aluminum trim, Boom cover and has our Pro Slam Breakaway Rim.
My favorite part was putting it all together, then realizing the base and backboard was cracked. Probably dropped in shipping but have little faith that this product is durable.
We're sorry to hear that, Ted. That is not the experience you should have had. Yes, the shipping process during the holidays can lead to damage at times depending on the carrier. We have re-enforced the packaging and added extra protection around the base to prevent this from happening in the future. Thank you for being a Spalding customer. We really appreciate you!
@@spalding yes but yall didnt say anything about making it right for the customer. I have a hoop that is less than a year old and the base has 20 cracks in it. Why not sell replacement bases since they are known to crack
There has to be a better way to remove the film. Do better for next version. Like removing film off a new phone. It should not be difficult or leave little shreds on the border.
