How to Install the Timney M&P Trigger

Hey guys, I've got the Timney Triggers M&P Trigger here on the table today to do the install on my Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0. This install is a little more labor intensive than the Glock trigger and the video is WAY longer than I'd normally be comfortable with but the WHOLE process is there for you to digest at your leisure.

About to drop an Alpha in the same 2.0 - doing my pre-brief research. Glad to find your video! Great to know what to expect ahead of time - Honestly- the trigger in this 4” compact is pretty great on its own. Much improved. Especially the reset. Would leave it be but I just really dislike the hinged shoe. Too bad S&W does not offer the new flat-faced shoe as an upgrade . I’d be all over that. Will see how this Timney shakes out - at 3# its a bit too light to carry IMHO - Picked up the Apex Duty Upgrade kit just for the 4-5# spring. Anyways thanks for the vid! Thumb n sub’d!!!

I got another one to put in my M&P metal. I don’t think it’s as light in that one but I haven’t put a scale on it yet. The best part was I saved THAT flat faced trigger and put it in my Performance Center M&P.

I think it’s probably just that trigger spring in there that they’ve replaced with a heavier one. Possibly that and the safety plunger spring. I bet he could change those and lower that trigger pull weight.
