The manufacturer says you don’t have to but I did with some coarse sand. Thanks for watching and for the question.

Wouldn’t a snow blower rip this out?

Paul, that is a really good question and I don’t have the answer. But I will say that it does have a really low profile when installed. I’ve used snow blowers (in Nebraska, not Texas) and they typically are a bit off of the surface of the walkway/driveway.

@@pault477 then this might get ripped out. Great observation. Here in Texas it works great and it really does have a low profile. I may try and contact the owner/creator of the product. He’s in Houston.
