One thing everybody is forgetting about tritium vials/tubes is that tritium is a radioactive gas and the high temperatures that any high power/lumens flashlight can get is a powerful reason for NOT TO INSTALL those tubes on our EDC lights. Crashes are also very dangerous, because they can compromise the integrity of the tritium tube (same thing for the heat), so it could break and you don't want that to happen because radioactivity is BAD for you, you know? If someone "manages" to break one of those (something really easy if you've got slappy floppy spaghetti fingers), don't touch it at all and call to the CBC (if you touch it, you could end getting yourself a "balls" cancer, you know what i'm saying?). Be careful, please.
@@N8SANZ Educate yourself before writing statements like this. Quick google search and here you go: "Tritium is a relatively weak source of beta radiation, which itself is too weak to penetrate the skin. However, it can increase the risk of cancer if consumed in extremely large quantities." Those vials are too small to cause anything. Your phone is more radioactive than that.
This torch/flashlight has factory made slots which accept 1.5x6.0mm tritium vials, this video is showing how you glue them in, the vials glow in the dark and are practical and look nice on the torch. Hope this answers your question.
