Nice vid do you know how sensitive amped hair tune is, you know when build a custom hpa build on there there is an option for hair tune, just curious how tuned is that one compared to yours if you know
Thank you! And yes sir, a friend of mine uses a speed trigger with this rifle. It should work just fine for you if you’d like to give it a shot! I would invest in a Jefftron Leviathan or a Perun V2 to help your rifle perform better with the speed trigger.
are you ever coming back to battalion? and if you know when i would love to know because i really want to get to play with you sometime. love the videos and i hope a new one can come out soon
Hey man! I'm at college in South Carolina 9-10 months out of the year, and whenever I'm home, I usually work around 70 hours per week. I do plan to play again soon though, probably in December when I come home for Christmas break. The best way to check and see when I'm gonna play is on my instagram @crazyasianairsoft If you ever see me out there, come say hi! I love meeting people who watch my videos.
No you do not! Any AEG with a mosfet like the Gate Titan, Aster, Perun V2, BTC Chimera, and Spectre can utilize this mod. The installation is a bit more complicated with an AEG, but the same principle applies. But as far as any Electro-neumatic Polarstar engine, this is the proper way to do it!
@@kvantti887 Yes you can! Like I said, the installation is a bit more complicated, but once the trigger is installed, you can tune it super short similar to mine!
your nearest field banned hpa? thats wild, the field I play at is almost even split hpa/aeg. I cant imagine thats good for business. safety first I guess
Yeah, it makes virtually no sense. The field owner’s reasoning for banning HPA was “…because everybody that uses a Polarstar is an a**hole.” He made a hasty generalization based off of the bad reputation people have given these guns from videos on the internet for clout. That’s why I’m currently selling my F2 build. It’s the best gun I’ve ever used and I’ve never seen somebody else’s gun shoot better, but I’m tired of getting stereotyped as a douche bag when I’ve done nothing to warrant that.
Unfortunately no, speed triggers don’t fit in the G3 gearbox shells without dremel work, but you can shorten the trigger pull on the stock trigger using heat shrink. I show how to do that in my life stream videos that I posted on my channel!
Done this on my Upgraded Nuprol Defender, arrived at site with gun fully configured went to chrono everything went fine till I test fired after chrono and got asked to slow down on the trigger 😂😂😂
Yes sir they’re metal, and they aren’t difficult per se, but they do require patience to file down to get that perfect balance between a functioning safety, and a hair trigger.
Yes you will. Any aeg without a mosfet will not be able to work with this mod. They use as standard trigger trolly that will lock up or double fire with this mod. You will need a mosfet of some kind.
No sir those do not exist. You also don't need a Titan Advanced. Perun, Jefftron, BTC, Gate, T238, and several other mosfets will all work with this mod. Perun makes some much cheaper fets, and Gate also makes a Basic Module that's only $80.
I believe so, however some additional modification might be needed. I haven’t had a ton of experience with the N7 yet. I do know that you can easily shorten the trigger pull on a regular V2 trigger for those. (Video on that mod coming soon)
The Mp5k has a V3 gearbox, while the one I use in this video is a V2. There are certainly ways to shorten the trigger pull on a V3, however I haven’t had personal experience with that yet.
This trigger will work in almost any aeg, but the mod doesn’t usually work on an aeg because most mosfets are optical, and the trigger has nothing to bounce off of. The Polarstar trigger board has a clicky button on it for the trigger to bounce off of, unlike most aeg mosfets. To be safe, if you want to do this mod on an aeg, simply cut a few coils off of a ball-point pen spring, and use that for the trigger to bounce off of. This will still give you an extremely light trigger pull, but it will ensure that it bounces back to the forward position properly.
This mod is for HPA engines that specifically use a physical (non optical) trigger board switch. This trigger also works on most aeg’s but there can also be additional work needed to achieve the same results.
Mine does the same. The vibrations of usage causes the screws to work themselves loose over time. The fix for this is to drip a drop of blue loctite onto the screws, then retune your trigger.
You have to fully disassemble the gun by removing the pins and screws and taking apart the body. The gearbox will be inside where you can begin the mod.
That's normal! The trigger being tuned backward makes it so the safety cannot fully engage. However, you can file down the safety lever to work with this trigger if you so choose.
No sir, it’s more complicated with an AEG gearbox. There’s multiple moving components inside an AEG, and you will often be working with optical mosfets, rather than a physical trigger button/switch found on a HPA trigger board.
@@CrazyAsianAirsoft I got it working thank you! I’m just stuck on how to put the g2 gearbox back in the lower part if the sr30. Im going to battle cat this weekend, ill see if they will help me with it if i cant get it.
@@hakeemh7977 cool! If you’re having trouble fitting the gearbox back in, it’s likely the opening for the trigger is now too small for the speed trigger to fit through, meaning it’ll need to be dremmeled/sanded out for it to fit. This is an easy process and shouldn’t take long. Best of luck!
Yo bro I’m kinda late so you might not see this, but my trigger doesn’t reset with the spring, is there a way you can tell me how to install without it ?
Hey man! What system are you trying to do this mod with? Is it in AEG? Or is it a HPA system? If it’s HPA, what engine? If it’s an AEG, most MOSFETs don’t have a physical button that can push the trigger back to its reset position on its own, So that could be a problem. If you are using an HPA system, your trigger board microswitch, might not have enough spring tension in it to push the trigger back into place after each shot.
With an AEG, you need the spring. Almost every mosfet on the market now is optical, and doesn't have a physical microswitch for the trigger to bounce off of. Therefore, you will need a spring. But you can cut a coil or two off of the spring before installation to make the pull lighter.
Yes but it’s far more complicated. You’ll need to add solder, or some other physical stopper at the front and back points of the trigger to eliminate the play.
This will work with Maxx and SPEED Airsoft triggers. As far as gearboxes, some may require a little dremel work, but most V2 gearbox shells should work.
No sir, the trigger has holes that come pre-bored into it. There are set screws that can be loosened or tightened with a small Allen key. The spring isnt needed in order to tune this.
@@Airsoft-556 anywhere you buy the gun from. The majority of entry level (and higher) M4 aeg come with some form of a micro switch mosfet. Including but not limited to: Krytac Trident CRB, Matrix S&T Sportline, Lancer Tactical, VFC Avalon, etc.
Yes sir that one can! Sorry for the late reply. As far as I am aware, the SpeedQB versions of those rifles come preinstalled with a SPEED or MAXX trigger.
The small one to tune the trigger is the .14mm I believe. As far as the gearbox screws go, most of them will need a simple Philips head to remove them, not a star bit like mine.
@CrazyAsianAirsoft ok then thank I'm write that down I just got into airsoft and I be trying to find people with great upgrade knowledge cause I got want to upgrade it
What engine are you running? Jacks run into that problem a lot, but sometimes you gotta tune it short, and just hit the trigger harder to avoid double firing. Depends on the engine.
For some reason, despite using the same trigger board, the Jack/F1 (Single Solenoid) engines seem to double fire more when attempting this mod. If you can't get rid of it, you could invest in a black leaf trigger board. The button is a bit harder to hit on this board, but it has a nice clicky feel like on the Fusion Engine.
If you don’t use at least a small pen spring with this trigger on an aeg, the mod won’t work. The trigger needs to have something to bounce it back to the forward position.
@@jakub-games1899 you can only do this mod to a gun that has some sort of microswitch that the trigger can touch. For instance, you can do this mod to a Matrix S&T, or a G&G ARP-9, but not a Krytac CRB.
@@CrazyAsianAirsoft igjt bc I’ve had my f2 for a year and my buddies say the spring is needed to set back the trigger bc the micro switch isn’t stronger enough to send it back
@@justinhunting803 Then he hits the trigger too hard or the trigger is tuned too tightly. My friends and I have never had issues with not using a spring. Although if you prefer to just cut a few coils off, that’s fine too.
Of course! It’s different with AEG’s, as you’ll want a mosfet with a physical button microswitch for the trigger to bounce off of if you want to go without a spring.
@@CrazyAsianAirsoft So I just dropped a Polarstar Jack in, and I usually notice after a while the trigger doesn't hold the same "hair trigger" non movement, and i was wondering if it was because of the spring so i considered removing it and trying it after seeing your video
The spring has to do with that, but also the screws in the trigger itself will be loosened over time from movement and vibration of the gun. I suggest using some blue loctite to hold the screws in the position to which you tune them. And lose the spring, then let your fingers fly!
@@CrazyAsianAirsoft I just got the blue loctite in and I'm letting it sit and I still have the spring but maybe I'll give it a try without once it dries out tomorrow!
