@@GorgonJob You should always seek out device specific instructions when installing Ubuntu Touch, but the overall process should be similar. Do note that the builds I have linked are specific to the Poco F1. Happy flashing! :)

Dude.. i have some questions 1- does the wifi work on this rom? 2- is there any app store for this rom? 3- can i install any apk on this rom? 4- I'm using pocof1 android 10 can i install lineage 16 on this version of android? And thank you for your great tutorial 🌺🌺

Yes, WiFi works, there is an app store and yes you can install apks using anbox :)

Thanks for your video I managed to install Ubuntu touch on my Poco F1. I installed the system and boot files directly from Twrp.

Sadly I had to get back to Android within a couple of days because I needed to test something else. I stayed on Ubuntu Touch for a couple of days. As far as I remember the battery life was quite solid, comparable to android :)

droidian could be a next try. it's basically like ubuntu touch, it uses gsi halium stuff, thus unlike postmarketos or mobian, there is support for voice calls sms and other stuff just like ubuntu touch (it's using android specific stuff rather than mainline kernel)

This method did not work for me at all in spite of 5 trails. Every time I used the LineageOS 16 build, it gave errors. Used a 18 build, it was successful. But after running fast boot flash commands, it is stuck on the POCO logo.

for me on device get into fastboot, run command fastboot boot twrp get into twrp, install twrp (if something have a spare sd card) wipe and format data install fresh or restore from twrp backup

When I follow the tutorial and I boot the phone to the system it's stuck on the pocophone logo. Any fixes? What am I doing wrong?

Hmm that's odd, sounds like you don't have the correct firmware installed. Did you flash the LOS16 build in the description?

Yes I figured it out. I had to format data from twrp after flashing LOS16. Maybe update the description for other ppl.

Sadly I don't have a realme x3 to make a tutorial on it. However you might be able to boot it soon using a GSI :)

Hi, do you have guidelines how to flash back TWRP? I have not made backups since I did not have anything important on it, however when I flash the TWRP recovery it just reverts the Ubuntu recovery

To revert, I just flashed TWRP via fastboot and then installed the latest official firmware package and an Android ROM. Hope this helps :)

@@PearCrew thanks for the answer, however this did not work for me. My route was to use Mi flash tool to revert to stock firmware / recovery. Then install TWRP and flash the custom rom

@ Yup same, I got into fastboot, ran command fastboot boot twrp and then from twrp install twrp, rather than using fastboot flash twrp command, and it did the job. also ubuntu touch installer now exists and supports poco f1, but it didn't work out as a success (couldn't boot into os no matter what)
