Awsome videos! I have the intelli touch system i10+3D, which also has two expansion panels (expansion center i10) next to it. Would I need a upgrade kit for each or just for the main panel? Thank you for the video!

Great video (and nice, neat install). What would be the reason(s) someone would want to upgrade their EasyTouch or IntelliTouch to the Intellicenter?

Intellicenters are the future of all Pentair automation. The ease of use plus the functionality of the app is the way to go. Intellitouch has been discontinued and easy touch is very limited on what you can do with the system. Intellicenters offer over-the-air updates to make sure your new system never goes out of date. Unfortunately, older easy touch systems require you to purchase a new board if there is an update. For example, Pentair is releasing a new Intelliflo at the end of the year supposedly that will only work with Intellicenter. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!!

What is the difference between 522046 and 522047. I watched “a”video explaining which upgrade sys is needed etc. I fall into the category of “legacy” with a spa overflowing into pool so I thought 522046, then I saw ur video, which is awesome btw, and now I’m confused as to which one.

The 522046 is a pool/spa combo where as the 522047 is a pool only. Hope this helps!

Hey guys, thanks for the videos, they are very helpful. Question, is there a way to know the part number for the ethernet POE adapter that powers the wifi device? My kit (522047) came with both, the antenna and the EnGenius wifi you have on the video but no adapter to power it (as shown in this video). Thanks!

Honestly, it should have come with it. You may want to reach out to Pentair to see if they can ship you a replacement. Hope this helps!

Great instruction. Do you have a video on a Pentair Mastertemp 400 control board replacement? Pentair, apparently, has several versions that are should be plug-and-play, but I can't seem to get my remote heat function from my Pentair SunTouch controller to work. Original is a 42002-0007 Rev B. Replacement sent to me is a 42002-0007S. All works well once turned on manually from the keypad. Any ideas? Thanks.

I watched this couple of times last week. You nailed it! My install was yesterday and easy. All I have left to connect is the pool light. It has a phone jack type connection (RJ##?) that used to plug into the board dimmer port. In the new connection I want it as an on/off auxiliary switch (nothing fancy). Any idea how to connect it? I was thinking about opening the wire and connecting via trial and error but that sometimes causes issues.

Two questions: (1) does the Upgrade Kit come with all the parts you installed on the video? The link to your store shows only the replacement panel. (2) Is there a remote panel option that can be used in the house (for my grown children when they swim without access to the app)? Thanks!

Hi there, to answer the first question yes, it comes with everything installed in the video. For the second question, if you have an EasyTouch system then yes, but if you are upgrading from an old system to an Intellicenter then no there is no option for that. You can control the system from the panel that does have a touch screen. Hope this helps!

I am in the process of getting my pool built. My pool builder went with an EastyTough 4 but I later upgraded to panel 8 due to the number of lights I wanted on separate zones. My question is would the Intellicenter have been a better choice? The price was a lot more money for the base, then you have to purchase everything separately such as the actuators they told me; however, it does include the wireless and it come with the app vs EasyTouch 8, you have to purchase those separately, again the price was a big jump. Am I getting an old technology using the screen logic 2? Is the Intelli app going to give me that much more functions on the front end?

Hey John, The IntelliCenter is top of the line as far as automation goes. We recommend the IntelliCenter over any other Automation center. The Easy Touch and Screen Logic are fine choices, but the IntelliCenter is superior in our opinion and is supported in a better fashion than its counterparts. To answer more directly, the IntelliCenter is also newer technology that really incorporates everything you'll need for operation and usage with ease. The IntelliCenter does feature a standalone app included at no additional cost as well as multiple points of control. Hope this helps! ePoolSupply

Where do we reposition the Intellichlor circuit board that is right next to the transformer? Or can it stay in the same position?

If you are referring to the tab that is in the way for that Intellichlor it circuit it must be removed in order for the unit to fit properly. That is the only solution. Hope this helps!

Does this handle a second pump for a waterfall, and did I miss the lighting? Those are all connected to my old Intellitouch.

Aside from taking screen shots of all the setting for Screenlogic setup, do you have any other tips or things to look out for when transferring all the settings? Is everything called the same thing in the Intellicenter? Are there additional settings in the intellicenter that I need to be aware of. Is it easiest to set all the settings from the PC version of intellicenter software? I doubt there is a setting transfer tool or program?

just got one last week, It did not have a wifi adapter. Came with a RF transceiver, which connects to the control board using ethernet, a ethernet power inserter is included to power it. On the network side there is a transceiver that connects to the router with ethernet cable. It is powered by a plug in wall power supply.
