Welcome back to my channel! In today’s video I’m going to show you guys how my sister fit my Locs underneath a wig. It’s been 2 years since I’ve worn weave and I wanted to try something different for my 23rd birthday. I was skeptical about the color and the wig not fitting , but it all turned out pretty decent. What I’m seeing in every video is that the smooth transition heavily relies on how thick the wig is. . . The more thick the wig, the better and really, no matter the thickness of the locks, as long as you figure out a way to lay them down ‘flat’ best you can, the thickness of the wig will cover the bump from your locs underneath. Love the video. Thank you.

This is the video I’ve been looking for forever now!! Since starting my locs in 2016 I been so sick about not being able 2 rock weaves n wigs to switch up... although my dreads r much longer than hers, they r skinnier than hers so this gives me hope that it can be done!! Are you doing inward scalp braids for the foundation?. If so, it makes so much sense to why. It keeps the install from being bulky and gives a nice flat install. I’m gonna make my bff a wig and her locs are just as thick but longer then your model’s. Very nice look love! Subscribed for perfection!

Lol I ain’t airline is very full and close to my eyebrows already she kinda had to do it like that or else my lace would be touching my brows which I don’t like . I don’t do this often , it was just that one time honestly lol , my edges were fine.

What if you’re going to be taking it on and off every day (after the melt wears down)? Can you secure it ok with just the combs on the wig instead of sewing it down?

Yes you should try it! It was our first time trying it and I have a big head lol plus my Locs so it was harder to fit under the wig. But if you can braid the Locs as flat as you can and pin them, you should be good lol.

Can I moisturize my dreadlocks everyday by spraying oil and water on my hair feels like I need it. Hair is basically getting dryer the longer it grows.

It just depends really . Of course it’s easier when you have shorter Locs but it’s still possible when you have longer Locs . If the person who’s doing it knows what their doing and a good technique it’ll still be possible .

That can help , I don’t usually wear wig like that . I just did it that one time for my birthday which was a few years ago lol. But you can talk to someone that knows more about wigs or a wig maker to help you out more. 🙌🏾

The wig was too small for me . I have a big head plus my Locs ... my sister only had a regular sized wig cap. But I mean if your doing it make sure you use your right wig cap so it can fit well. I only had it for a few days and it was fine with me . I didn’t have any problems with it .
