To install WordPress on cPanel, you can follow these steps:
Log in to your cPanel account. Typically, you can access it by going to your domain name followed by "/cpanel" (e.g., www.yourdomain.com/cpanel) and entering your cPanel username and password.
Once you're logged in, scroll down or use the search bar to find the "Softaculous Apps Installer" or "WordPress Installer" section. This section might be located under different names depending on your hosting provider.
Click on the WordPress icon or the "Install" button for WordPress.
You'll be taken to the WordPress installation page within Softaculous or the WordPress installer tool.
On the installation page, you need to configure a few settings:
Choose the version of WordPress you want to install (if available, it's recommended to install the latest stable version).
Select the protocol for your website (HTTP or HTTPS).
Choose the domain on which you want to install WordPress. If you have addon domains, you can select the appropriate domain from the dropdown menu.
Decide the directory where you want to install WordPress. By default, it is usually installed in the root directory (public_html) of the selected domain, but you can specify a subdirectory if needed.
Enter the site name and description for your WordPress website.
Set an admin username, password, and email address. These will be used to log in to the WordPress admin dashboard.
Once you've configured the settings, click on the "Install" or "Submit" button to start the installation process.
Softaculous or the WordPress installer will now install WordPress on your cPanel account. It may take a few moments to complete.
After the installation is finished, you will see a confirmation message with a link to your new WordPress website and the admin dashboard.
That's it! You have successfully installed WordPress on your cPanel account. You can now access your WordPress website by visiting the provided link, and the admin dashboard can be accessed by adding "/wp-admin" to the end of your website's URL (e.g., www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin).
