I canceled my AT&T home internet over a month ago. Sent all the equipment back have receipts. They are trying to charge me almost $600 saying I Cancel the contract Early when I was with them for 19 years. There are nothing but crooks.
I swear to god they want you to break these things because the new ones look the exact same but the sfp goes backwards now and the instructions on the app are still the same as the one you have
The gigabit switch went into the 5gb port and ps5 into 2. Doesn’t do anything unless I have the service providing the 5000mbps service. So it maxes out when ever is the service connected.
I received th self install kit. I don’t received the sfp plug. And the kit doesn’t mention about the sfp either. I have only the power for ont and power adapter for the gate way. I also received the red ethernet cord. Am i missing something?
Ok so that means you have an Ont somewhere in the home. Possibly the garage. Make sure that has power. Then look for a red Ethernet jack in the home. Connect red Ethernet cord into that and the other into the Ont port of the bgw 320. If you can’t find it or you’ve looked and it’s missing. Then you need to contact att and have them send out a tech and install a jack for you.
Tell me more about your brand new AT&T fiber Wi-Fi Internet, bathroom fiber, Internet Wi-Fi box for 2023. Tell me what hour does what are all the deals with the feature because I need to get that because I got the Dayton to U-verse Wi-Fi BG going to tan tell me more about the Bee Gees are you team from AT&T in a fire at the Internet Wi-Fi box for 2023 to 310 Wi-Fi by fiber-optic box❤❤❤
Could you plug the fiber to ethernet adapter into your own router and not have to pay a rental fee? Yeah it would be sticking out the port and breaking the adapter or the fiber would be bad.
@@EuSoumMiTo if you are sure that both ends are properly seated in the SFP and the wall jack with the red dot facing you. Then you’re doing right. Need to contact att and get a repair ticket set up.
@@purewhips1 But then I go into the app and scan the code and it tells me “couldn’t recognize hardware” so I try to put in the serial number and it tells me the same thing.
@Kllzz-lz7qh that’s an issue with the connection. You can try tier 2 and have them activate the gateway. Don’t reboot. Just have them activate. If they can’t. Just send a tech.
They sent you an Ethernet only? That means they want you to hook it to the ONT. which will work. But att needs to send the home run into where you’re at. Or at least close to it. Where they can safely.
What do I do if the SFP cord I guess we can call it the teeth but it doesn’t goo in and it stops at it what do I do ? Sorry if that was hard too understand
You should have a flat jack on the wall that reads “AT&T in white lettering. If you don’t have one. Then att must send out and tech and install it since they own the home run to the gateway.
