Holy!!! The guy did it without putting in the ground. A pure Clinic Type of demonstration. Now return the stuff and get your money back, lol. Thanks for sharing.
🎉❤ My man !! This is the most thorough sprinkler system DYI ever!! Like the best !! Very practical and easy, hand on !! Best ever !! And I like your accent also 😊 Thank you Robert 🤗
This is awesome! Exactly what I was looking for. Other RU-vid videos have these long introduction with music, history, etc. and at the end, they don't even tell you what you need to know. You're spot on, thanks man!
I know exactly what you mean been through too many of those myself and thanks man thanks for stopping by and checking out my content I’m working on uploading more
Great video. Best I have Have seen on the wiring. The back flow depends on the codes where you are. That would not be allowed where I am from We are much stricter
Thank you I appreciate that and yes each state and each city or county has different laws when it comes to the height and sometimes even the location of the backflow
Great video man...When I open my lawncare business after I retire from Military, this would be a great service to provide in the winter time to stay busy.
Yes it would be and it’s easy to get started once you do if you need any advice on how to do certain things let me know and good luck with it once you get started
Thank you for the kind words and subscribing this is why I’m working to improve my vids and make them more interesting I want to bring a lot more for you guys that’s why I’m also starting to record videos about crypto and food and I’ll keep making vids about other stuff as well
Thank you I appreciate that and if there’s anything I can help with on your project let me know and I’m more than happy to make a vid or guide you if I’m able to.
Thank you 🙏 and I’ll be working more to help everyone I can because i know this can be expensive even a simple start up and shutdown so I want to help people save some money
I've been trying to find out what the "saddle" is for 3 days! I told myself that if I can't figure it out today - I'm just going to have to go into Home Depot (30 min away) and ask them for a parts list for a sprinkler system and have them take me through it. Googling "thing that connects sprinkler to sprinkler line" could NOT help me! SOOOOOOOOO glad I found your video! Wonderful job explaining everything! 😊
Thank you 😊 makes me really happy to hear that I could help others in anyway I’m trying to open my work schedule up a bit so I can make more vids so if there are any suggestions for what you would like me explain let me know
I would like to see you install one in a yard and tell what kind of sprinklers needed. that's what is so confusing to me as to which sprinkler I need. I know every yard is different, but I could an ideal. good video with no blaring music thanks.
I’ll work on some vids to help explain that the best I can but generally we just go based on the space we trying to cover if it’s bigger we use rotors if it’s smaller we use sprayers but I’ll work on some vids so it doesn’t sound confusing anymore
hey brother saw your video and it helps a bunch...yo vivo en Florida y me gustaria poner ese sistema en mi casa, tiene mi apoyo 100% a yo ser Americano Dominicano...the best vidio I've seen explaining everything step by step
Mucha gracias mi hermano agradezco tu apoyo alguien de mi país if you need help with anything let me know and I’ll try to explain or make a video about it
Wow! Absolutely impressive!! I have learned so much just from your one video! I hope and encourage you to keep posting great and thorough content! I look forward to seeing it!! ✌🏼✌🏼
I agree this is the best video and best explanation so easy to understand. Thank you so much for taking time to do this video. Now i understand how is the system really works. Thanks again
Loco, este es el video mas completo y detallado de como instalar un sistema de sprinkler que he encontrado. Me ayudo bastante. Sigue palante. Buena suerte creciendo tu canal
Very well done. Learned a lot. I'm planning a system for my "new" 25 year-old house that no one ever landscaped, so I get to make it whatever I want. Need info on how to incorporate drip with my regular sprinklers.
@@robertdominican That would be just awesome! I can't wait to see it. When I finish I will take some pics and show how it turns out, including the backflow valve.
My dude other than the trenching and digging this video was spot on. Side note every time you sd “OK” in my mind I followed up with “I’m reloaded” 😂😂😂 im fucking with you but all jokes aside I just subscribed great video straight to the point 👍
No need to apologize for that sexy accent, thank you for the incredibly clear and concise explanation. Unsolicited advice from an old guy to a young guy - get yourself a pair of knee pads before you need them like I do. Your older self will thank you. :-)
Great video!!! So clear and easy to follow. Appreciate your help. You should do like a part two for the extra questions ppl made. My question is, how do I go by finding the main water line. I have one next to my water pump and one that goes right before entering our house. Not sure where I should look for it since I’m on a water well.
I’ve been thinking about making a second part to this like you said I’ll organize something for you guys. And since you using a water well are you still using a meter? If so you can tap into the main any where after the meter that way your water use is still being measured by the meter just follow the line till you happy with a location to bring the water line out the house to the outside
That’s not a problem my water comes from my house and the controller is in my detached garage you just have to find a way to get the electricity to the valves
Thank you, Sir! This is an awesome, clear review concerning the install of Rain Bird system. Will you be posting videos about maintenance of the system, I hope so. I've subscribed to see more. Thank you.
Thank you and I like to split it up so let’s say I can divide the yard in two sections and the system has 8 zones I would do 4 on one side the other 4 on the other side
Thanks, Robert! Great tutorial and have saved for my own system setup. One question- have you ever hooked up to pump drawing water from a pond/lake and if so, any tips?
Outstanding demonstration. I have 1 question, in most sprinkler systems the black wire is common, why is this one is the white wire used for common? I know it shouldn’t matter if you keep everything the same just wondering.
Thank you and great question and to be honest the reason why I use the white wire is because that’s how I was taught at the landscaping company I worked at so it just stayed with me but you right the black is what electricians use as the common or hot wire I’m just so used to going with my old teaching lol 😂
This was awesome!. 3 questions: 1) I live in Canada so freezing along the line is a real concern.. would I be better off putting several drains along the path of the piping? 2) If so, how would I empty those as I go along? 3) You mention the valves going in sequence. I'd like to potentially turn on zone 2 or 3 without turning on zone 1, would that work? Thanks for this, I learned a TONNE..
1) no you don’t need multiple drains just add it where it’s easy to get to it and also try to add it as close as possible to where you connect the main for the sprinklers and the house water. Let me know where you usually turn it the so I can make a video explaining the process before that. 3) yes you can turn zone 2 and 3 without turning zone 1 on all you have to do is turn the amount of run time for zone 1 to 0 and that should skip that zone since it doesn’t any running time
Great video and really understand the process. Couple of questions. First what kind of pipe/tubing are you using? seems that I cant find it in big box stores. Most store sell only the poly tubes that are cheap looking and thin. Second, what size of tubes and fitting are you using? Thanks for the video, its really concise and direct to the point.
Thank you for watching my content and for the kind of pipes I use they are pvc and poly so pvc I use for my main water line and once I connect it to my valves I follow it with the poly pipes after the valves to connect the heads and as for the size everything is 1”
