I show you how to interlock your own hair in this loc video. I started my locs with small box braids, and maintain them via interlocking. I installed my braidlocs and interlocks, and self maintain. I have tried the 2 point rotation, 3 point rotation, and 4 point rotation. In this video I explain 3 additional reasons why I use the 2 point interlocking method. I also address how to deal with loose hairs around the locs or hair that grows away from the loc.
Check out the video below to find out some of the myths & truths of interlocking.

@NaturallyMotivatedLady
@NaturallyMotivatedLady 4 года назад
Thanks! 😊 The same concept can be applied to the 4 point rotation if that is the rotation you prefer. The key is just having a system to not go through the same hole back to back when retightening. Thanks so much for watching! I hope this helps. Btw...you can probably do a search to find methods of repairing holes that may already be in your locs.

Boy I was wrong I have 180 ish I’m 4 months in and having watched a few more videos I find you extremely informative. Your hair looks healthy & amazing hope I can achieve that for mine too. @NaturallyMotivatedLady
@NaturallyMotivatedLady 4 года назад
Thanks! Since I started my locs with braids, I usually call them braidlocs or interlocks. Technically, I guess they could also be called microlocs or just small locs. However, since they were not done by a sisterlocks technician, and do not have the sisterlocks grid, and barely have half as many locs as sisterlocks, I do not call them sisterlocks. Thanks so much for watching! 🥰

I've just begun my journey however my loctician insists on using methods that I am uncomfortable with. So I am now on my own. Have you ever had to combine your locks? What method did you use. So I tried the 2 point rotation a few weeks ago and it was a total disaster!! Lots of loops and gaps. My hair is a very fine soft 3B texture so I think I need the structure of the 4 point rotation. Also it didn’t save me Time or feel faster at all. In fact I have to go back in to fix a bunch. I think her texture is coilyer than mine and that makes a huge difference. Consider your texture above all else. Needless to say, I’m going back to my trusted pattern
