Mr. DeMar is such an inspirational speaker. And, his subject here is what empowers that inspiration. God's holy Scriptures carry with them the power unto salvation, first and foremost, and an uplifting power that streams directly from Him who created and sustains all things. All glory unto the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever! Amen!
I'm exceedingly grateful to our LORD for a dear brother preacher, a personal friend of mine. He graciously challenged me after we'd debated/discussed the eschatological views we then held. My friend embraced what is called Postmillennialism. At the time (1991) I rabidly argued the Premillennial, pretribulational position of, what now I consider, delusional dispensational view after being trained in a dispensational college and then in an university followed by studying in 2 different Seminary in persuit of a Masters degree. At the time of our discussion I was a pastor of my 3rd church, all of which were dispensational. So for the first 18 years of my journey on the path of righteousness I was a dispensationalist. Thankfully my friend graciously suggested a few resources for me to read and provided a subscription to Gary DeMar's magazine. From that publication I ordered a number of his books. God bless Gary DeMar and his current ministry.
My question is why do you simply use phrases and ideology that's been inserted into the book and it's actually not even found in any original manuscript? In doing so it is equivalent to adding error to error, when you base what you believe on a false premise than everything else you're saying is going to be just as false because it's built on the foundation that is shifting... Now the word church is actually fourth century and comes from the work Kirk and these ideologies never came out of Jesus this mouth nor the apostles a single time... So to repeat something that has been inserted as if it is from God, can only bring one conclusion, you are teaching a different gospel... The original understanding is they are all selected as part of the final Temple which would make up the New Covenant priesthood.. By people inserting themselves into the text they are actually using replacement theology claiming they are the body of Christ or priests, when the biblical tax clearly states This Promise is only given to the remnant of the House of Israel Joel 2:32 also see Galatians 3:17 Romans 9:7, are all referencing the scattered Northern tribes of Israel who were part of the bloodline Covenant born from Sarah and Abraham found in Genesis 17 19. Paul explicitly States they're the only ones who could receive the promise, this is why in Galatians 4 he says the children of Ishmael are the ones persecuting them and demanding that they don't preach this message.. In conclusion I feel you have missed the mark due to the false narrative of church and religion, which incidentally don't even have part in the things these letters are referring to
