I dont know who said it, but i remember watching a video on youtube where the artist said "dont worry about mistake, when people look at your painting, they dont have the source photo to compare to, so they arent going to see the mistake that you made"...

Liron, I followed your “bowl of cherries” tutorial and finished the painting. Although I have lots to learn on how to control the watercolors, this subject has lots of leeway for errors and I was pretty happy with the outcome. Thx, again for the tutorial! Your clear explanations really made it manageable.

I prefer your adaptation to the actual reference! Great as always Liron!!! This also demonstrates that when using a reference photo you're not tied to coping to the tee! Take what you like or what fits the composition best.

Really informative! Light and shadow can be difficult but you explain in a way that makes sense. Sometimes I wish I could see your reference photo better. You add things that I do not see but you do. Thank you for this vid! Stay safe and well!

Thank-you! I've been looking for photos to practise my painting (found several nice ones) but most of them have no good light and shadows. Now I know that I can actually add them into the painting without guilt :-) I am quite relieved about it.
