I love this guy's honesty. He doesn't claim to know what he doesn't know And what I love about this channel is that TJ literally asks all the relevant questions such that the interview leaves you clued up and well informed... Big ups to you...
Watching from the UK as i recently spent a few weeks in SA and loved it..was in Soweto and later Durban. Saving this video to my educational playlist..thankyou
When you're new to the business it can all be quite overwhelming. So thanks for the informative and relaxed chat, guys. If you were standing around in suits, all us newbies would get a bit intimidated.
Nicely done.TJ Please get the camera guy to move the camera to where the conversation is going .As you move around being shown projects the camera guy or girl needs to move the lens to show the rooms and facilities you are discussing. Otherwise all else is good.
Im currently owning a 1 bedroom flat in cape Town bond, taxes and levies amount to R6200 and Rental is R6000 next year I'm going to use this Rental to buy 2 RDP houses in my hometown in Kroonstad at R200 k each with a possible rental income of 1500 per RDP.. All i am saying is where possible use the rent of the Queen property to fund other properties...
Sounds like a great strategy Hope! Just make sure you are making a profit on your rentals every month and that you are not supplementing anything. You can check out the rental calculation video that Retha did on how to do this, if you have not yet seen the video :) Here is the link to it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j8gQrdFr7hw.html
Thank you for the content/information, as someone who grew up in a shack(mkhukhu) and still live in it. I wanted to buy a spacious yard/house and rent It out so that I can be able to build more rooms at the back at the time goes. the video showed me some of the things I need to be aware of before I can get into this business. Am I allowed to buy an RDP house with flats at the back using FLISP and rent it all out or there will be issues with the department of human settlement. Thank you once again.
Thank you very much M5.I get inspired everytime I watch these kind of videos , if I buy a house that does not have a title deed in Tembisa -how can I then get a title deed as the seller already informed me that the house has no title deed?
It is always better to buy something that can get you an income from day 1. Land only will be an expense while you are building which could take long depending on what you are building
I'm thinking of buying an Rdp house, well that's all I can afford and then after a couple of years do the backrooms, but what if I don't get tenants and I don't even earn alot of money from my job but would like to own rental property even if it is in the township
As long as you have a good product (rental unit) at the right price you will always have tenants. Check out the video on our channel "how to calculate passive income from a rental property" to see how to do the numbers right so you don't end up supplementing each month.
Hi, I'm trying to grow my RU-vid channel. I personally had a bad experience with purchasing a township house and I'm hoping to make people aware of these issues.
Hi Charleen, we would like to hear your story and potentially feature it here on our channel. Please send a mail to retha@m5propertyaddicts.com if you would like to share and feature your channel
